For the first time in 17 years, Chevrolet will sell a true rear-wheel-drive performance sedan, one designed to look like the Chevys racing around NASCAR tracks most Sundays. The Chevrolet SS will be pricey, and rare, with only 5,000 a year available from a GM factory in Australia — but with 415 hp, Chevy execs expect plenty of demand.
The all-new 2014 Chevrolet SS performance sedan is Chevrolet's first rear wheel drive performance sedan in 17 years. The SS will also be Chevroletâs racing car entry in the 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup series.
