Fabulous looking car! Acura really needs something special like this to boost its image. But can we please forget about the "hybrid" nonsense?!? At this point in time the person who buys a sportscar like this doesn't care about mileage - just performance. And as much as I love Honda, they have yet to prove they can provide both at the same time...

The hybrid drive of this car is actually more performance motivated. There is mechanical linkage to the rear wheels with electric power to drive the front wheels. Saves on the weight of a conventional AWD system while still giving some power to the front wheels for added control.

To add to what AnthonyM's, hybrids also have more torque at low RPS than conventional just gasoline cars. Electric motors can exert huge amount of torque at very low RPMs. This improves the acceleration figures of the car! So going hybrid for performance cars improves performance at the expense (duh) of better gas mileage!!

130k car, 0-60 in 3 secs and claim to had best gas mileage for a super car. Definite very pricey out in 2015. This car is far better deal than those european super car for fraction of the cost.

the front looks pretty sexy... but what throws me off is the rear tailights... its a tad disturbing...

Looks just like the Audi R8... but it's all-wheel drive so idk

I'm into American cars but, this is a great looking car!!!

It's about time, I just hope they don't put a ridiculous price tag with it like they did the first time. Back then you could buy a Corvette for $30,000 less and get more horse power and performance.
    • Joseph 2 months ago
Horsepower, yes. Performance, no. The NSX beat the Vette in EVERY track test performed by every magazine in existence in 1990 (1991 model).
    • Shawn 2 months ago
      still it was over priced

If I was a millionaire or maybe I would have to be a billionaire, I would definitely have this. Ya gotta love the look. Yes, I have to admit I am a car nut, why and how I became this, no clue.

According Motor Trend April 2012 2015 Acura NSX has a 3.7L V6 DOHC with hybrid produces 480 bhp and 0-60 in 3.0 sec and a price tag of $130,000 . with a lot cheaper then LFA but more expensive then the GT-R. and it is targeting the Ferrari 458 italia and Lamborghini Gallardo. I think the preference figures are excellent but the price tag will drive customers away compare to GT-R.

Great design... but whatever happened to Honda's Hydrogen powered designs? Did "big oil" get to them already? We need to eliminate our need for foreign oil.

    Nice design!

This is the first Acura that looks good with that stainless steel bar on the grille. Acura, please put this beauty out with that integrated wing of the first NSX and you will have another Supercar hit. Then get rid of the stupid bar on the rest of the lineup and score with the masses. And please get rid of all plastic parts and battle test your transmissions so we can go back to buying reliable Acuras and Hondas. When we can go 300K mi with good service and no replacement transmissions, we will come back in droves.
