Extended Wheelbase AWD shown
- $6,107 - $7,036
- Great fuel economy
- nice to have arms on middle seats.
This is a great value vehicle. I have owned it since Jan 2006. It gives me and my family lots of fun and pleasure.
I did many long haul driving and it gives good acceleration and mileage. Very roomy design and sleak appearance. Best value van !

- No trim specified for this review
- good fuel; stable ride
- shimmies violently after driving through slush; slow, poor rear wiper
It has been back to dealer numerous times regarding two problems:
1) ...after driving through slush, or a muddy road, the car shimmies, sometimes, violently.
2) ...the heater is inadequate for the size of the car. It is never hot; incapable of clearing ice on windshield after 15 minutes driving.

- Good fuel economy, informative dash, nice ride, comfortable, more pass through room than 1999 Montan
- it does ping and ding after driving but who cares. No arm rests on second row seats.
I have 3 car seats in this van. One booster, one infant base and one toddler seat. They all fit and we have a lot of room for all our stuff. Fun to drive and smooth ride. I love my van so much. I had a 1999 Montana and loved that one as well. I wish my SV6 had more storage areas like my old van. I would recommend this van. We got a GREAT deal on it otherwise could never afford a new vehicle....read morehide

- Very good in mileage
- too spacious
This is a very attractive SUV X VAN. I had it for 8 months and it gives better mileage than suggested. This is actual driven mileage: for city driving it gives 23mpg and on highway it gives 32mpg.
The on board computer in the engine keep track of your driving habit. The engine response to your normal driving habit. It gives lots of power on the highway, swift through traffic easily....read morehide

- Awesome fuel economy, love my sliding doors, Kids enjoy the DVD system
- I wish some were made in solid colors
I absolutely love this van. I used to drive a 1998 Pontiac Trans Sport and I loved it so much. It was a wonderful van and it was good to me. I sold it to my oldest sister who is going to hva e her third child in a couple of months and she said she loves it. My SV6 though is so nice and I couldnt be happier with it. I had some troulbe switching because I get so emotionally attached to my vehicles. My last van was red and my SV6 is red too. I only wish it was a solid red instead of having that black boreder or whatever on it. My Trans Sport was solid red and it was just beautiful. I find my sliding doors very handy when I have two handfuls of groceries and all I have to do is push the button. The onlt thing is that the kids love to push buttons so I usually set one in the middle and one in the second row back seat. Another thing that I love is the windshield wipers on the SV6. On my Trans Sport I always had that one wiper that was in my face and I'm short so it was really in my face and on my SV6 the wipers go down all the way so I was excited to see that change also. I was actually having trouble deciding over a van and SUV and when I saw the SV6 advertised I knew it was perfect for me. I can't complain. It's a wonderful family vehicle. I'n the one at work who owns one of these vans. One of the girls I work with had never heard of them and so she's looking inot buying one, She has a 1999 Montana. This van was no waste of money here....read morehide

- great fuel mileage, very roomy, recently went on camping trip in alaska and the comfort was amazing
- gas gauge isn't always where it should be.
i drove every van there was to drive on the market. the comfort & feel of the sv6 sold me immediately.plus it doesn't even look like a mini van. the dvd player is a huge hit with the kids. went camping in alaska and it was a dream. the family went on a 1700 mile trip and everyone had plenty of room. heater will be awesome for the cold here as the van heats up fast!!!when you turn off the van it does make tinging noise. the seats in the very back row can be a pain. the outlet is too low as well. but all in all i love the van. the accesories are amazing as well, auto start ( from a short distance) onstar, dvd player, auto door an air compressor. for the money we paid i couldn't have gotten a better van....read morehide

- DVD Player, remote door opening, high up driving position, fuel range, comfortable ride, remote start
- Rear access can be tricky, no stow and go seating
Best Value in its class. Gets OK fuel economy, however large tank makes you forget how expensive it is to fill up, as you don't need to do it that often. Kids love the DVD player, but headphones don't seem to work that great. For the size, it is very easy to manouver and navigate. No problems parking, just need to make sure you pull far enough forward to not have back end clipped. Hard to judge how much room you have up front, but back up sensors make backing up a breeeze. If you do get this Van, go for uplevel model, as base models do not give many options, and power doors, uplevel seating, rear heating/AC make life much easier. Overall this is awesome value for the money. Not sure why Pontiac is considering discontinuing this model, see many on the road and seems to be selling very well....read morehide
