The 2014 Boxster is a 2-door, 2-passenger SCCV, available in two trims, the Base and the S.
Upon introduction, the Base is equipped with a standard 2.7-liter, H6, 265-horsepower engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 30-mpg on the highway. The S is equipped with a standard 3.4-liter, H6, 315-horsepower engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 28-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed m transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 7-speed a transmission with overdrive is optional.
