2013 Porsche Panamera User Reviews
- $109,900 - $96,350
- Elegantly beautiful, bold styling. Comfort for four. Amazing hybrid acceleration. Superb handling.

I have owned the flagship sedans of all the European luxury brands, as well as Lexus and Jaguar. And I have also owned two seaters across the same manufacturers, as well as Porsche and Lotus.
The Panamera Hybrid S is superior to any car I have heretofore owned. Of course some vehicles have more interior space and smaller sport models win the 0-60 contest. However, none challenge the Panamera Hybrid in delivering a stunningly beautiful body, an extraordinarily well designed and roomy interior, a driver-centric cockpit and serious instrumentation. The interior appointments are stylish and high end, but maintain clean, edgy lines, plus passenger comfort - while not divorcing the driver from the road.
Of specific note is the hybrid engine. I should add that gas mileage was not a primary concern of mine. My enthusiasm for this engine is in large part due to the incredible, pure torque acceleration at all speeds and conditions. This car is a joy to drive, and while I also very much liked the normally aspirated and Turbo Panamera models, the electric power delivery from the hybrid feels more like Star Wars than Dukes of Hazzard. And surprisingly (to an extent) the handling is terrific, notwithstanding the battery weight and location. I simply cannot imagine returning to a normally aspirated (no electric assist) engine.
I know that many Porsche loyalists have not embraced the idea of a four door vehicle, but if not, the resistance must be based on blind resistance to change. Since I needed a vehicle which could seat four, I would not have purchased a Porsche otherwise. And as a further endorsement, my wife drives a
We have had no problems, large or small with these vehicles. No squeaks, no rattles, virtually silent interior when driving. The enginneering and design tolerances must be otherworldly-especially at this price point. The European luxury brands should take notice.

I have owned the big sedans from Mercedes, BMW, and Audi. This is where the Panamera competes. I am totally impressed. The performance is supercar worthy. The comfort is top notch. The fit and finish of the interior is First Class. This car holds four adults in supreme comfort. The Turbo Brakes and Turbo deployed rear Spoiler are awesome. The car is 4 wheel drive and can take you anywhere. Motor Trend called it the "Swiss army knife" of automobiles. Be sure to check it out if you are looking for your next new uber sedan. I rate it Excellent!...read morehide
