| Pros: | Plenty of power but the handling makes the car |
| Cons: | Limited room in the cabin but really who cares given the performance |
I chose between the corvette and the boxter s..chose the s as it is much more refined - it does not have the raw power of the vette but the handling makes up for it...also it is a porsche versus a chevy and there are so many vettes on the road these days it does not even seem like an exclusive vehicle.

| Pros: | Handling, Extremly balanced, G-force, Convertible is lovely! |
| Cons: | Mechanical problem here and there. |
I have 50k on my 05' boxster s. Love the car since I test drove the car long time ago. Has unbelieable grip and car fits like a glove. Mine has 280hp but needs 40hp more. Other than that car is beauitful. I was considering m3 when I bought it, but this car is so much driver's car. M3 is definitely faster in everyway but Boxster feel more connected with the driver. Having the mid engine mean everything about what Prosche's philosophy was orginated from. Try Porsche....there is no substitute. Thx

| Pros: | Best Handling car in it's class, hands down |
| Cons: | options are a bit pricey |
I love this car, pure sports car. Not a car you want to take a long road trip on, but amazing car. The entertainment stuff is lacking, like IPOD integration and Bluetooth.

| Pros: | Getting 30 MPG highway, Nav package is a must PCM 2.1, 19 in turbo wheels are worth the money |
| Cons: | No issues other than Little Rock doesnt have a local dealership |
Only have about 1000 miles and one road trip. Car sits low and being 6'5" tall makes getting in and out a challenge but once your in there its awesome. Tires wont last long on the 19 inchers but they handle great and if you can afford em, get em. IMO the S is not really needed unless you plan to go racing. The 2.7L gets much better mileage and has more than enough power.

| Pros: | much improved performance and interior over first generation. minor exterior changes are welcome. |
| Cons: | while base car a good value for entry level porsche, "s" trim can get expensive quick. |
i have owned a 2000 MY base boxster. while it was an absolute joy to drive, interior was never quite befitting of a car of this price level. spartan with too much plastic, seats not designed for cross country crusing. with the '08, they have vastly improved the interior trim, finish and comfort. performance has also been boosted. still think value is questionable, especially when you start adding packages and upgrading wheels. in the case of the "s", pricing starts to overlap with the cayman, which aside from not being a droptop, out performs the boxster. but in the long run, esthetics and the pure enjoyment of driving an open top porsche wins out.
