- Automatic transmission dosen't shift as smooth as it should in lower gears.
I researched cars for over a year before buying my Aero. I test drove a base BMW 328i right after test driving an Aero, and concluded that the Saab was much more fun to drive. In fact I thought the Saab beat it in every category except maybe exterior styling.
I've been very happy with my Aero thus far. I'm used to owning performance cars, but this is my first "sport sedan". The brute acceleration from a dead stop is absent, but it's 70 to 110 mph acceleration is excellent! This car also handles great, It takes corners like a true sports car.
The interior looks great. I love the accent stripes on the seats, and the aluminum accents on the doors, dash and steering wheel. The cabin is quiet, and comfortable.
My only complaint about the car is that the shift from first gear is always very noticeable, even if I'm babying it.
In conclusion, I really enjoy this car. I can't belive I don't see more of them around.
