Upon introduction, the SC1 is equipped with a standard 1.9-liter, I4, 100-horsepower engine that achieves 28-mpg in the city and 40-mpg on the highway. The SC2 is equipped with a standard 1.9-liter, I4, 124-horsepower engine that achieves 27-mpg in the city and 38-mpg on the highway. A 5-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard on both trims, and a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive is optional.
