Complements Excellent Styling With Superior MPG

by J. ONeill from Larchmont, NY (7/14/08)
Pros:Excellent fuel economy, great value for hybrid, beautiful interior, tons of cargo space
Cons:Driver seat difficult to adjust, no remote trunk access, limited inventory

I purchased my 2008 Saturn Vue Green Line about a month and a half ago. I am really pleased with what I have so far. This car is seriously stylish with the eco-friendly aerodynamics. I fit 5 people plus beach gear in on a regular basis with no problem. The green eco light that shows when I am charging the battery or the battery is assisting is great. I am really satisfied so far with OnStar, which provides turn by turn directions as well as hands free calling. XM is great, I am in love with the Lucy channel, 90s Alternative. So far the only problem I've had is fighting with my wife over who gets to drive!

Nice car but MPG is a disappointment

by Chien from New Jersey (7/10/08)
Pros:Comfortable ride and nice appearance. On Star and XM radio are graet.
Cons:Avg. only 24MPG. Acceleration is not good and poor going uphill.

24MPG AVG.is a disappointment to me, especially when that number comes from without a spare tire and without roof-rack. GM's estimated 25/32 is not feasible from what I have seen.

Out with the big SUV and in with comfort,

by Milton Walker Jr. from MArrero, La (6/24/08)
Pros:Good looking, spacious for a small SUV, averages about 26 miles a gallon in average driving
Cons:Small cars just don't have the same ride as bigger SUV's

We purchased our Saturn Vue Hybrid a month ago. It replaced a Chevy Surburban, and after one trip to the gas pump, we could not figure out why we did not make the change last year! It has plenty of leg room for rear passengers as well as the front. A huge glove box on dash. Instrumentation is attractive and functional. We don't regret the swap.

Greenline is a Great Buy "rethink saturn"

by ken from newport news (5/03/08)
Pros:Good fuel economy,on-star/xm radio free trial, tax incentive, great interior features for every use
Cons:comfort level is medium, only power seating for driver seat, minor quality issue, onboard compute

I bought this SUV 2 weeks ago. I have done alot of reaserch on hybrid vehicles vs its non hybrid version and I think that it will make up the difference in price several years from now, plus the tax incentive will help out ($1,550). The hybrid also comes with extra features that the other version does not like: 17" wheels as suppose to 16", comfort and convenience package that is pre installed in almost all Greenline but not XE. I also know it will hold a better resale value if I choose to sell this several years from now. Another important feature that is not considered is that, when the vehicle is at a stop; weather it be at a drive thru, light, or traffic jam; your vehicle will not waste the gas because it is at a complete stop and running on electric motor; this is not part of the MPG average.

The Saturn Greenline is a great buy for the type of vehicle that your getting with all the great features like onstar,xm radio free trial, integrated home remote for garages, power seats. I really like that the middle seats that can adjust a little to the back for comfort and all the way to the front for maximum space (if needed). Driving is rather smooth, and the Greenline is hardly noticeable when your vehicle switches over from electric motor to gas engine, unlike many previous hybrids.

Performance- 10, Environmental issues- positive,

by edgar avelino from Brampton,Ontario (11/23/07)
Pros:I certainly rated this model 10 w/regards to fuel consumption .
Cons:My model saturn vue hybrid is a petty nifty vehicle .good ride and balance in the highway, amuch imp

I have leased a Saturn vue last year and i am quite satisfied with the performance .The marriage between our domestic technology and european knowledge says it all. This year, I decided to purchase a Saturn Hybrid (vue). Driving this vehicle so far is certainly a plus. factor, not only savings on fuel but also in n environmental aspect that goes with it. I have not encounter any major problems since the time i purchase this vehicle 6 months ago.
