I love the Scion tC. So far this is one of the few cars I?ve owned, I actually love to drive. With the Navigation package, there is a visual touch screen for each audio function. The standard subwoofer, 10 equalizer settings, satellite radio, auto volume and other options adds to excitement. Interior lamination package also adds a soft ambiance during night time driving.
Coming from a 2002 Nissan Altima I was impressed with the feel, handling and enjoyability of the manual engine model.
The maintenance is considerably low at oil changes at 5000 miles with few items to replace overall. I would recommend this car if you are 6?-0? or shorter and tote yourself and one passenger. I happen to be 34 and think this car is best suited for people in their 20?s or the young at heart.
I have a couple of gripes. The tC has to be one of the few cars that isn?t compatible for bike racks. Also the safety feature blocking navigation input while the car in motion is annoying. Several times a passenger had the opportunity to input an address but not until the car was in park. And the DVD visual only functions while the car is parked rendering DVD playback impractical.
Overall I love the car. If I was to buy another car of a higher class, I would still keep the tC.
