Purchased As New
I got my new tC in April. I had to special order it from Japan with a few extra options like the TRD exhaust, spoiler, carbon fiber accents, and an upgraded Alpine stereo. The whole car looks 10x better than the girly looking 1st gen, a total upgrade. After I put about 2500mi on it, the performance really kicked up and I noticed how peppy this 2.5l coupe really is. It gets a lot of looks from everyone, due in part to the guttural growl exhaust note, especially when downshifting while rolling up to a red light.
The only downside, a major downside at that, is that the exterior seems to be made of glass. I accidently backed into my neighbors car going less than 10mph and it completely destroyed my bumper/rear lights. I couldn't believe how frail it was compared to my '96 Camry, which I bumped into multiple cars/lightposts and got away with just a scratch and some missing paint. $3000 worth of damage...you live and learn
All in all, it looks and performs better than the competition, while keeping a low price tag. Just watch who and what's around you and don't have an accident!
