i was comparing toyota rav4 , honda crv and forester. afraid tototas too many recalls so decided to get the forester. CRV the new design looks like a box LOL .was going to get the x touring but didn't have in stock so purchased the xt touring instead. I love the touring cause HID headlights, leather incline back seats, heated seats and winter package , turn signals side mirrors. Stainless steel gas and brake pedals, tinted windows. I Love the Bluetooth answer phones or listen to your ipod through the stero system . I love the stereo system 7 speakers with subwoofer . Too loud for me some people say the stereo system sux. I think its too powerful for a factory system it is great. it also comes with 17" tires.
only thing is better gas mileage better and only thing it takes premium gas. i guess for Turbo but its awd so 19/24 as advertised but on highway i got as high as 28.5 mpg...read morehide

Bought this Subaru in Sep 2011, one of the selling feature was the ability to use BlueTooth for hands free phone operation. Multiple dealers over the last 9 months have all said that Subaru is aware of the problem but no fix is availible. This car seems have been riddled with many little problems -- Seems Subaru is worried about selling a product without regard to whether or not it works. -- If you need tested quality with a company who stands behind their product -- Keep looking. When you purchase the car your oil change's are supposed to be at 7500 mile intervals but the service department insistes that you bring the car in at 3500 mile intervals even the 2 year mile warranty that they give you says 7500 mile but if you want to maintain the automobil according to the dealer you have to bring it in at 3500 mile the also claim that they use synthetic oil....read morehide

Other than I wish I could have gotten the turbo engine (much better for higher altitude so going up I-70 in CO is going to be not as fun) this is a great little car. The multi position front seat combined with the telescoping steering wheel makes for a very comfortable ride. Winter package, heated seats, de-icing of mirrors and fog lamps will be great. I would have like to see a touring version, just for the headlamp upgrade but no one in OK had one...to puffy for these Oakies I guess :D. The passenger seats adjust more, making it nicer for them as well. The cross beams in the back doors is a great safety improvement as well. Over all I look forward to seeing how many years I get out of this one (My Chev Venture is 12 years and 136,000 miles and going to a kid...so I have really high hopes for a Subaru)....read morehide

I love it and I go on lots of dirt roads so the ground clearance is important and its really a great little vehicle. I wish it had better seats and full leather. Not much to complain about I have 5000 miles on it and love it.
