I've had this car for just over a year now. I've had it tuned and have it at stage 2 now. Car makes 300 horse power at the wheels.
Not sure why the last guy had so many problems, as these cars are showing to be almost bullet proof. My guess is he didn't take the time to break the car in properly, along with probably not using the correct fuel. I came from a Subaru before this car and never had any problems. Before that, I had a 2003 Civic, and that was a piece of crap! Will always buy Subaru's from now on! MPG has been around the 25-26 mpg mark, not bad for a AWD 360 hp car!...read morehide

I'm not sure why the other review is complaining about the gas milage, since my car was made, it's gotten 21.3 mpg average, which isn't great, but looking at other performance oriented cars in this price range, it's pretty good. I have had a single problem with any engine light, but it was a simple fix. I was really getting on it passing another car, and it flipped on. All it was was the ECU saying that it was getting too much air from the turbo and the bypass valve couldn't vent the excess. I reset it myself and I haven't had a problem since. I mentioned it to Subaru and they said it rarely happens and if it does, you didn't do anything wrong, it just has a lot of safety built into it to avoid wear and tear on the engine and drivetrain. I love the looks of it, some people don't like it. It is a love or hate kind of car. The audio system is too quiet for me, keep in mind, I listen to music really loud and was used to it in my last vehicle. The most impressive part of the car is the suspension, every time I go around a corner and push the limits, I never cease to marvel at the amount of adhesion provided by the tires and suspension....read morehide

- Looks nice on the exterior, decent performance.
- worst than poor reliability, mostly plastic interior, POOR fuel economy.

I have own the car for over a month and at just 5 weeks had to returned it to the dealer for the 5th time for check engine, traction control, cruise control & tire pressure sensor problems. I just give up to Subaru! I can not understand how people can say Subaru is the Japanese pride, to me, is a shame! I have owned several japanese cars and none have been nearly as problematic as this one. I would definitely would NOT suggest anyone to buy a Subaru. This has been my worst experince of all. BTW, the car had just 396 miles on the ODO, so you can see the car have been pampered all this time. Ohhh, and if you expect to have good fuel efficiency, DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!!!
A Hummer has better fuel efficiency than this car with a 1/4 of the space of the Hummer!...read morehide
