Here we go again. Gentlemen, just because Subaru built the car we have all been waiting for does not mean that you have to get your panties in a bunch. Numbers do not lie. Acceleration is normally a matter of weight and horsepower (or torque for you purists) (yes I know the difference). The reason the evo and sti have similar numbers is because the power to weight ratio on both cars is similar. Regardless of the six speed tranny. The sti is not a drag racer, is is a rally car. Even if we were only concerned with 0-60, the sti is faster than any car in its price range. Technologically speeking it is very impressive. 2.5 liters equals approx. 153 cubic inches. At 300 bhp that is 2 horses per cube thats better then a 428 hemi. Very impressive. Lastly for all you guys who feel their manhood is put into question. I noticed that you all do one of three things
