- really well rounded performance vehicle, excellent awd with lots of traction
- interior is not as refine as lexus or audi, rear leg room is kinda cramp
i test drove this car with 4 people in it and we drove it up on windy hill and it did not struggle at all, a very well balance vehicle. suspension wise its kinda of soft but you still get plenty of tractions when you hit those corners. plenty of cargo room for those who likes to take it to the mountain or beach. the only things that subaru could have done better was the stereo system. it was not as nice as lexus and audis....read morehide

- Gee! Subaru has a GPS for 06. One more reason to buy it
- The brakes have never "clanked" on mine.
Well, i own one. walked in the door got the color i wanted and every option and interior i wanted for $100 over factory invoice. The car has good performance (I'd say best in class). And the car is comfortable and worry free. The interior is about as good as Subaru gets. I think I'd have to spend at least 40k to get something better, and I wont....read morehide

- FAST, great handling, elegant exterior, hot leather interior
This is BY FAR the best car I've ever owned. I love Subaru's anyway, but now I'm hooked forever! It is lightening fast, responsive and SOLID. The navigation system is great, the stereo is great. The little details like the chrome on the bottoms of the doors and the 10 spoke wheels give this car an impressive look....read morehide

- Sure footed and better quality & power than BMW 325xi
- Sport shift time lag & fuel burn (AVG 18.1)
Impressive car. We drove every single AWD car in this class. Nothing comes close. Best in class. Stays glued to the road (pavement or gravel). Climbs hills like most cars going down hill. The biggest problem we have had is others always trying to get us to race them (people with Porche's, etc.). It doesn't carry a classy logo or name... but the bottom line for us was performance. Nothing we drove came close for the price. People who buy BMW's are missing out... period....read morehide

- Fast, Refined, GPS, All Wheel Drive....An Elegant Rocket
I am now the proud owner of Legacy Spec. B. I saw the car while dropping a friend off tohave his Subaru serviced and fell in love. One test drive was all I needed to know this was the right car.
It is fast, plain and simple. I was worried about gas mileage but managed 27 mpg on my first extended trip and about 23 on mixed driving. The interior is well appointed and everyone comments on the brick leather interior.
I think this car easily competes with most sports sedans and the value that is Subaru goes without saying. All wheel drive is not extra, it is standard. The dealer didn't even try to talk me into an extended warrenty noting that Subarus are, above all else, realiable.
This is a fantastic are if you are looking for a refned ride that is fun....read morehide

My wife finally realized why men are so passionate about cars. I got for her a Subaru Outback Wagon and she fell in love with it. I had the opportunity to testdrive it and it blew me away. Better than BMW,Audi,Lexus, Mercedes Bens, Acura,Infinity.........
Give it a try. This will be my next car. It is fasttttttttttttttttttttttttt!...read morehide

- STI like handling, plush interior, GPS with a 5 speed, limited quantity, sleeper, 18" rims
- it looks like a family sedan, GPS isn't as nice as it could be, fuel mileage isn't great
I actually got to drive one of these the other day and I was thoroughly impressed. It was as quiet as any Lexus. The interior is far above my 2003 WRX's which I am going to trade sell now. It is basically a grown up WRX. With the 2.5, there is plenty of torque and then the turbo kicks in a puts you back in your seat. I have had the oppurtunity to drive a few STIs and the Spec B handles very similarly. With the race suspension, you can take a corner almost as fast as you want, yet ride quality is not compromised as it is very smooth. It competes with any of the BMWs, Mercedes, and Lexuses while it has a lower sticker price and is generally faster. I WANT ONE!...read morehide
