I now have 77000 miles on my 98 Outback Limited wagon. It has undoubtedly been one of the best cars I've ever owned. It's like owning an all wheel drive sports car, sedan, wagon, and SUV all in one. I use everything on this auto, including both the sliding sunroof and the pop-up moonroof, the electricly heated front seats, the fold down back seats, and I've even put a carrier on top of the luggage rack when on vacation 2 years ago. With the car top carrier full, the car loaded to the hilt, and my mother and wife as passengers, I hit a deer at 65 miles per hour coming into Colorado Springs. The poor deer went from hood/fender to the windshield, to the car top carrier, and on up over the car. Although we experienced some radical swerving, I maintained control of the car, the windshield didn't break, and I drove the car home to California. I am thoroughly convinced, that the excellent handling features of the car saved my family's lives. I am ready to get a new car in the next month or two -- GUESS WHAT I'M GOING TO BUY? A VERY HAPPY SUBI OWNER!!
