Handles beautifully;fantastic sound when you get over 4000 revs;loads of room for STUFF;loads of room for people;easy and obvious dashboard;high enough without being stupidly SUV high;great ride;AWD comes into its own trying to get out of my second home's dirt driveway into traffic;generous kit for base model.I know of a 1996 Impreza Outback with 260000 miles on it, so I am expecting great things.
Running in; can't quite get the seat comfy. Hatchback door doesn't always close properly;sticky notchy gearshift (but it is new);seems to judder a little when the car is cold, when changing gear.
I've had my Scooby one week,420 miles so far.Handles beautifully, just as I have read about for years. It's hard to judge performance thus far, as I'm still running it in. Despite this, I have nudged the 4000 rev mark a couple of times, and that classic Scooby boxer snarl is right there-I'm looking forward to hearing more of that.I'm coming from an upgraded VR6 Golf (205bhp)and a Jaguar XK8(290bhp), so performance is considerably down, but practicality is vastly up. I got two armchairs in the back last weekend, so I was very smug inded.
