- AWD, moon roof, reliability, heated mirror and windsheilf wiper (good for a cold winter day)
- gas milage
this is my second Subie. the previous was 03' Forester, which ran for 4 years without giving me any problem (not even a small one). The outback XT is quite a step up from the Forester in terms of comform, convenience, power, and style. I test drove many wagons before I purchased the XT. It lacks the upscale looks and spaciousness on cars like Volvo XC70 and Audi wagons, but it gives me everything I need (two dogs, constant hauling stuff from Home depot, living in the snow belt). Ultimately, I would like to own a XC70 given Volvo improves the reliability. For now the Outback XT is the best thing my limited budget can buy. By saying that, the XT is by no means lesser of a car because after all you can not compare cars in different price ranges, not to even mention the fact that the XT comes very close to the more expensive cars in many dimentions.
