| Pros: | Touch screen nav, power everything, radio controls on steering wheel. Sport, classy and quality |
| Cons: | Fuel mileage about 21 in town, close to 27 on freeway. No HID or blue tooth |
I have owned this car for a year now and I still love driving it everyday. It handles great both during the summer and winter with it's AWD. It has a lot of room compared to it's counterpart WRX STI and much less road noise. The interior is made with quality parts especially for the price. They finally included fold down backseats for extra cargo space. Not to mention the power this thing has. It's not a pin you against your seat power but it gets the job done. I have definitely had a lot of people who know about cars and Subarus ask me exactly what the Spec. B was. It is fun to show them why it's so special! I would buy this car again in a second.

| Pros: | Design, Fit and Finish, Power, Performance, and most of all, its a Sleeper! |
| Cons: | Not a single complaint here! |
I have owned my 2008 LGT for almost a year now, just shy of 10k on ODO. No issues at all. By far the BEST value for a luxury sports car. You may not agree with "luxury" or "sports car". Just take a test drive and pull up to an Audi or a BMW, Switch Si drive to Sport Sharp....Then look at the expression on that guys face when you effortlessly make him wonder where his extra $20k went. THANK YOU SUBARU!!!

| Pros: | Good looks, great handling, great pick-up for engine size. |
| Cons: | Steering not as tight as prior models. |
Awesome car! The only thing that disappoints me is that the steering wheel does not have as much resistance as my 1993 Subaru Legacy. My next car will eiter be a Legacy Spec B or WRX. Don't let service departments sway you, they differ depending on location.
Our 2006 Legacy not only survived a mid-winter crash into a concrete wall but was reasonably inexpensive to repair, and if you consider all the crashes that were averted due to the AWD, this ranks as a very safe car. Subaru is my brand, and I won't drive anything else!

| Pros: | Good fuel economy over 350 miles per gas tank, navigation, all options included |
| Cons: | No cons, perfect car |
The car is beautiful. Power and trim is comparable to higher class cars such as Mercedes or BMW which I am a previous owner of. I highly recommend this car to someone who wants to own a sport luxurious sedan for a good price and lower than most luxurious on the market

| Pros: | fuel economy, handling, fun to drive |
| Cons: | I hate the fact that I have to open my car before I can get into my trunk!!! |
I love the way my Subaru handles and loved how safe I felt in winter time driving, however I sometimes feel too confined in the front seating and hate the fact that I have to open up my vehicle in order to release my trunk. What a pain when getting groceries or shopping at the mall.

| Pros: | Rims/Tires, Standard Features, Smooth Ride, Beautiful Interior, AWD |
This is an amazing car... I test drove it and leased a brand new '08 Special Edition a week later. Everything about the car is amazing and is a great value except for a few things... (1). Pedal placement and what I mean is they should be spread farther apart and there is a stupid f'n plastic panel above that my foot hits everytime you move your foot from gas to brake. (2). The driver seat never seems to be perfectly comfortable...Id rather have a regular manual seat adjustment than these new 8-way power driver seats that make you feel it could be a little better. (3). MPG in city driving could be slightly better... But anyhow, with the exception of these little quirks the car itself is great. The engine, with only 170hp feels stronger, the low end torque is strong, and the ride is rediculously smooth with the standard and sporty looking 17's with all season performance yokohamas. The AWD is great during turning and cornering at whatever speed you want and driving in rain is a non-issue. ( I havent driven in snow yet since its Apr in NY). Brakes are strong and responsive. Sounds system could be slightly better but I guess Im spoiled because my previous car had an amp and sub installed. Trunk is huge. Anyhow, all in all the car for its price is an amazing buy and I would recommend it to anyone especially in the Northeast. AWD itself makes the car worth it and it is sporty and sophisticated and gets alot of good comments. If you can look past the stupid quirks that are really miniscule then you will Love this car. Hope this review helped...

| Pros: | Adjustable Heated Seats, 6 CD Changer, Low Engine Noise, Heated Wipers |
| Cons: | Center Console shows dust, no steering wheel audio controls, Sirius only pre-wired ($500 to add) |
Car won me over after the test drive due to the superior handling. Most fun to drive out of the 4 Cylinder class. Good MPG for an AWD car as I am getting around 23MPG with a large portion of city driving. The engine noise is very minimal while the road noise is about average. I am very suprised there are not more on the road based on the price for AWD/Traction Control/VDC ability....drives like a low end luxury car. Car is on the small size for its class but comfortable for normal size adults. No regrets as this is my first Subaru....chose over the TSX, Altima, Milan, Accord, Aura, & Rogue.

| Pros: | extremely good handling at high speeds on winding roads, quick take off and high crusing speed, quck |
| Cons: | none |
I purchased this model as I wanted a loaded car with all the options and something that would handle well, with ample speed. I have about 12,000 miles on mine and love it. I live in the moutains, so I needed a all wheel drive and this is the best out there, no problems on icy windingroads are a few inches of snow. What I like best is it's ability to hang in there at high speeds on winding roads. The sport msuspension and the added power when you select this driving mode make this a real dream car. Still gets right at 24 miles per gallon average, even using the sport mode and higher engine output, very nice for a car with all wheel drive. Not many around in my area in California. These may not have really caught on yet as they are limited production and not known to the average driver. This is a winner, with all the goodies, The leather heated seats are very nice and at 6'1'' I have plenty of seating and head room driving this car. The price is right for a loaded car and far below the Volvo that I was 1st considering, but after driving all the all whel drive loaded molds this has to be the best you can get at a reasonable price.

| Pros: | Great highway economy, decent acceleration, nice interior, tight handling, wide yokohamas |
| Cons: | sport shifter is useless, audio is okay not great, no bluetooth, city mpg lower than class avg., |
It has a comfortable sport-ish feel that conveys the road well to the driver. It is a class winner in handling, but its acceleration is marginal at best. It probably has a 9 sec 0-60. However, it still has plenty of juice in the upper range. I feel confidant since it has performed the heavy traffic merging test no problem multiple times now for me.
I learned that the ECU will learn your driving habits and adjust accordingly. What that means is if you tend to have a lead foot, then the ecu will comply by pumping more fuel whn you press the gas. This results for me in as low as 18mpg in town during "spirited" driving. I have earned 23.5mpg on mixed suburb to city commuting.
The stereo is nothing to write home about but non-picky people might not worry about this. I found a decent set of alpines for cheap and the stock stereo runs them fine. This is a cheap $120 upgrade done yourself.
Some people hate the frameless windows in the doors but I like being able to get out of my car in the summer and look like I own a caddie ;)
This is my 3rd Subaru and I am still impressed every time.
Anyway, I think the car is an efficient alternative for a long commuter, but if you never take trips and want efficiency then you may want to look at something smaller.

| Pros: | VALUE! Reliability, impeccable handling, beautiful in and out,all-wheel-drive,quiet,solid build/feel |
| Cons: | Only avg. engine power/performance on base models, a few very minor Subaru interior detail quirks- |
I just can't say enough good things about this car. I'll second most of what's been said in other reviews. It's is our little secret how great a value this car is. Why is Subaru not selling more? I live in South Louisiana and these cars are very rare here. After driving it in the rain (no snow here), I can't imagine why ALL vehicles don't have all-wheel drive. It just makes sense. The peace of mind it (and the highest rated crash tests) gives you is priceless. Why anyone would buy a Camry, Accord, Altima, or even Maxima, BMW, TL/TSX, after driving this makes no sense (except for maybe an interior space issue...but get over it :) Really though, a test drive sells this car, especially if it's on a curved road, or in rain or snow. I just traded my 2006 Legacy 2.5i SE with 40,000 trouble-free, rock-solid miles for a new 2008 this week. I couldn't be happier. It's as great as my 2006, just a tad better!

FINAL COMMENTS IN RESPONSE TO PEOPLE SAYING THE SOUND SYSTEM IS LACKING: That can be true, or not. Here's my take on it: I'm no audio engineer, but I take interest in quality sound. The preamp on the CD player is very low, but sensitive. This means that if the level on your CD music is recorded low, the unit's preamp will not amplify it much for the sake preserving every nuance of sound without over-stressing, or supressing the material to make it "Sound good to your ears." The system plays exactly what's recorded on the CD. This is how real premium systems work. It's played CD's that flat out blasted any oem Bose system on sound quality and volume. I've had others that sounded similar to my home alarm clock radio at best.
NOTE: for all of the above to hold true, you HAVE to install the factory subwoofer/amplifier! It's worth every penny! Now go buy your Subaru!
