- AWD @ 30 mpg, fits 4 adults, nice audio, useful hatchback, steering column audio controls
- road nosie, feels 'small' on the road
Purchased As New
i like this car. it is what the driver makes it. if you wish to sacrifice mpg it can be a zippy sport compact. if you have it for the awd you are in luck, it is almost magical in the rain with the right tires, in the snow as long as it is not deeper then half of the wheel you will go forward. great milage for awd, it has vertical seating that can comfortably fit 4 adults. the car is a little narrow so it can get crowded with larger people or layers of winter clothes being worn but it is a great trade off for the cars awd and wagon capability for 30 mpg on the highway.I live in a place known for 7 straight months of "winter mix" and I cannot miss work so this is my commuter, it serves its purpose well. mechanically it has held up to 15k miles a year for 3 straight yrs. it had a sensor problem in the first 1000 miles but it only cost me an afternoon and i got a free carwash from the dealer. as of this review this car has 65k miles.it always starts and always gets me to where I need to go....read morehide

- AWD, Stereo, comfort, flexibility, value
- Gas mileage, No hatch light
I'm not one to really post any reviews - especially on something I've "used" for only a few short months. But I've been driving this vehicle for four months now - and it's really been a great buy. The car drives well - smooth - and has better acceleration than anticipated from a 155 hp engine. The car plays bigger than it looks - which allows me to haul plenty of work and play items to and fro without a hinderance. The AWD is the clincher. I don't know why anyone would buy this without - since the price increase is minimal. At four months - and more than 7,500 miles - I have no complaints and have experienced absolutely no issues. I did purchase the extended bumper to bumper as well (obviously one's own preference). But now I'm protected 7 years or 100,000. The lone complaint - which is more my own perception - is gas mileage. I went from driving a car which used to get 30 + mgp. I'm getting - roughly - 25. Not quite what I expected. But - at the same time - when I punch my foot on the entrance ramp of I-65 ... the car actually takes off! So there's my trade. It's been a pleasure thus far. I hope it continues to be....read morehide

- Fuel economy, seats, cargo space, PRICE!
- Brakes, Warranty, Suzuki North America
I bought my Aerio SX 6 months ago and had nothing but problems for 3 months. My brake calipers are holding to tight, braking is nice but I am on my 3rd set of brake pads. The bad thing is that this a problem with a lot of 05 and 06 Aerio's. The dealership is telling all its Aerio owners about it, and using my car as an example why Suzuki North America needs a recall. Suzuki North America is not helpful in any way twards customers, but is also telling dealerships that they can't fix the brakes. Their reason is that the car is made that way and brakes will go out fast. So buyer beware....read morehide

- Very reasonable price, super list of standard features.
- So far so good.
I am very pleased with this car it has enough room for my small family, and a payment I can actually afford. Every other vehicle I looked at in the segment was vastly more expensive when similarly equipped. I haven't found any complaints in this vehicle. I maybe naive, but the content offered in this vehicle made it a clear winner. This is my first new car purchase, and thus far I have experienced NO buyers remorse. This is an excellent car for a first time buyer. I recommend it to anyone considering a new small car.
I'm tempted to give it five stars in every category.
Makes me very happy to give my wife a nicely equipped new car....read morehide

- Fuel economy is super! Almost everything you want in a car comes standard!! Roomy for it's class.
- Rear center should strap for seatbelt makes a small obstruction in mirror.
The Aerio SX AWD my not be the car of my dreams, but has everything I want in a car... Saftey features, AWD, ABS, Disc changer/MP3 and mega speakers. It is a great size of car for a new teenage driver. Has pep with O/D ingauged. Tilt rear seats make for a more comfortable rear passanger. Great cargo room without compomising passager comfort. Great gas milage when. (Highway driving) When I had the car open on the road going over 70 mph it didn't get more than 20 miles per gallon. However, when going 55 to 65 mph I got 29 mpg. All in all, a great little car!...read morehide

- Nothing really.
I wish I never bought this thing. Some reviewers say the car has "pep" and good gas mileage. I've had the car for 5.5 months, 7,700 miles and the best mileage I can get is just under 22 MPG. That is not good. My '97 V6 T-Bird gets better gas mileage. Pep? Are you kidding me? There is no pep. After only 500 miles the sway bar bushings started squeaking like crazy. When I brought it back to the dealer, the mechanic couldn't hear anything. Big surprise. I brought it in again and drove it with the same mechanic in the car. He heard it then. Squeak went away for a week but returned...I brought it back and the mechanic broke something so the squeak was gone but it turned into a loud banging. They replaced the sway bar and everything was quiet for a couple weeks...now the banging is back. The service engine light comes on constantly. They tell me it's because I don't put the gas cap on correctly. I've been putting gas in cars for 20+ years...I know how to put a gas cap on. I bought a ski rack for it and asked them to install it at the same time they replaced the sway bar. They charged me $200 labor on a 15 minute job. Ridiculous. When the windshield washer fluid is low or empty the warning light does not come on. Forget about putting a car seat in the back...unless the 2 people in the front seat are 5 feet tall. I hate this car with a passion....read morehide

- good fuel economy, roomy, comfortable, 6 cd changer
This is the perfect car for anything. It has a lot of room both for feet and heads, it also has a lot of cargo room. It seems small from the outside but it has all the room inside. I am very happy with it and by the way it does have a light in the cargo area.

- Price and gas milage for an ALL WHEEL DRIVE great
- needs more lights like the glove compartment and in rear entrance of hatchback
Alot of standard features for price. Like 6CD changer MP3 anti lock rear windsheild wiper with SX model premiem package. Good value for a cheaper AWD car
