2005 Suzuki Forenza Wagon

- Roomy, comfortable, practical, loads of equipment, great stereo. Very smooth automatic trans.
- Acceleration is so-so.
I have had it for about a year. When I have checked my fuel economy it has been between 27 and 33 mpg. I really like the car. The local dealer in Sheboygan, WI is great. I had a few small problems at first, which were quickly resolved under warranty. From my research on the drivetrain, I think the car should be quite durable. Acceleration won't snap your head back, but it will cruise all day at 80 mph without breaking a sweat. Styling is also a big plus, inside and out.
It is a nice practical alternative to an SUV....read morehide

- price, size, handles well
- a little tight (I am accustomed to my minivan), can't get a repair manual
Seems odd that you have to order extra keys through the dealer (non-electronic, just a key) for over $30 a pop, it takes a month to get them, and when they arrive, they won't operate most most of the locks. Later discovered a local locksmith who could make extra keys for $5 each. The line they gave me was the key is stainless steel instead of brass, and ordinary key machines couldn't make them.
Outside ot this bit, yeah, I'll probably buy myself an SUV (maybe a Grand Vitara) when I get this one paid for....read morehide

- Factory sound great for cost, visability, classy look, fantastic warranty
- Seats uncomfortable for long drives, mileage
Awesome vehicle for the price. Purchased in San Diego, Ca. and recently drove to South Lake Tahoe, CA. over 690 miles one way. Drove over the grapevine in So. Cal and up Hwy 50 with 2 big guys and loads of golf equipment with no problems, stereo system a big plus, handles well and can maintain hwy speeds or more with no problem. Get a good head start on the hills though, but if keep rpms up can maintain speeds. This car is not mine, but I delivered it to a family member, who is delighted as well. This car has classic look of a much more expensive car and the flat folding seats in the back provide ample cargo room. Also seats fold up and down easily and the doors swing wide providing easy access for seniors and larger people. We purchased extended warranty too providing bumper to bumper for 7 years, or 100 K miles. Nice!!! Visability makes lane changes very easy. Also has heated mirrors, and rear wiper on back window making it easier for bad weather driving. Oh, also has traction control, where transmission stays in current gear for inclimate weather driving as well. I also like the dual airbags in front with auto control on the passenger seat, (no on off switching for the air bag). And side reinforced doors for safety. I love this car for the price, we drove plenty of others...you will be amazed what you get for this price....read morehide

- Good value for the buck.
- 25+ mpg city; and 35-40mpg hwy., would be better. Some others get that.
A ride in a friends Suzuki was impressive. YOU GET A LOT OF BANG FOR THE BUCK, and if you cars are as wonderful as your motorcycles, buying one is a definite once I am employed. (Job Hunting at present)
A suggestion for the web site: the color swatches are so tiny that it is hard to even imagine what the wagon would look like in desert green. The color swatches need to be clearer, and 1" on each side of the square. Better yet, some auto manufacturers sites allow you to pick a color during the 360 degree tour, and really see the car as it would look. With tight schedules for many people, on line research really cuts down on time at the dealer, This 4-6 hours I have spent at dealerships is for the birds!
GREAT LITTLE CAR!...read morehide

- nice look, good room
- noisy,no power,worst seats ever,vibrations thru steering wheel
Really wanted to buy this car as it appeared it would meet our needs,UNTIL!!!
The test drive, wow noisy, vibrating, had to push the pedal to the floor to get it to move, any wonder its gas mileage is poor.
Front seats felt like the concrete bleachers at a high school football game. Nice style very poor overall result, any wonder Daewoo went broke!!!
This car is nothing more than a rebadge of the old Daewoo Nubira wagon....read morehide

- VALUE FOR THE PRICE
- HIP ROOM
THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST AUTO I HAVE EVER OWENED. POWER ECONOMY AND COMFORT ARE ALL IN IT. GUAGES ARE CLEAR AND IN THE RIGHT SPOT TO READ. TRANSMISSION IS SMOOTH. I CAN CARRY WHAT I NEED TO IN THE ROMMY BACK. IT IS A PURE JOY TO DRIVE.
