First I am embarrassed to say that this is my first official car at 31 years old. But I say better late than never!I purchased this car two days ago.I have a 2008 Used Suzuki SX4. It's black with black interior. The first thing I notice about the car were the seats. It has the Suzuki Logo on them. The car picks up really fast. I feel like I'm in a race car. I feel confident enough to drive it. I have recieved a lot of looks and compliments.I also call The Suzuki Roadside Assistance Program just to see about coverage. They were very friendly, and will still cover me until 30,000 miles or two years....read morehide

- Pros
- Great AWD car for your value. I got a Nissan Sentra 07 another great car, and a '94 Toyota corolla
- Cons
- Need to give more MPG per tank. Need to get up to at least 35 mpg on AWD.(AVG)
Purchased As New
I love my Suzuki, 8-ball. It is small but I have been off road in it and it is great. I think it is design for driving in the snow, but it is comfortable on and off road. It lacks a little power, but a K/N box filter or a tornado(filter) can improve horsepower. With a nice set of 16" or 17" to 18" inch rims the Zuki, will be the little car with the stylish look. I love my Suzuki. My Corolla have 465,000 miles on it. My Nissan have the power, but my Suzuki can almost go anywhere. :-) What a ride......read morehide

- Pros
- Great look and comfortable ride.
- Cons
- Wished it had an MP3 jack, arm rest and more guts
Purchased As New
Overall, I do love my car. It handles great in the snow, I'm in Idaho, and the rain. It has a lot of room and a smooth ride. I would refer one to my freinds and family. I do wish that it gets better gas milage, but I can't have everything. I do love this car.

- Pros
- Good fuel economy
- Cons
- Noisy, Poor quality, cheap interior, does not retain value
I would not recommend a Suzuki to anyone. I know two other people that bought this car, and both have also had quality issues. The car has less than 30,000 miles and the A/C quit working, the brake light has a short, and the tire pressure light will not go off. Though this is covered under the warranty it does not look good for future performance. This car also does not retain value. Two thumbs down....read morehide

- Pros
- best value in AWD class. Above avg. AWD performance, great AWD milleage
- Cons
- Suzuki parts overpriced. Wait time for service at dealership. Resale values not Honda or Toyota.
Buy this car and keep it for 8 or 9 years before trading in and you will get the full value of it. Loved the 4x4 v6 Grand Vitara that I had for over 8 yrs before trading it in on the Sx4 Crossover. Living in northern Wisconsin, the AWD is in at least intermittent mode for about 5+ months of the year.
The gas tank is a bit small, but I can deal with it. The milleage is EXACTLY what the sticker said...21 city and 28 hwy. This translates into never less than 200 miles and never more than 300 miles per fill up.
Love this car! not quite the power of the old GVitara, but has better wt. ballance, breaking, and handling. I paid an extra $200 for the i-pod interface installed. Next I'm hoping to put some actual fog lights in where the "fog light" molding is....read morehide3 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- AWD, price, leg room, cargo room for a small car
- Cons
- Needs bigger tank, drivers arm rest
I live in Western PA, this car came out of my driveway before plowing in January. I drive 50 miles round trip on combined rural roads and Interstate, I can't get better than 26 MPG but I think that's pretty good compared to what I had. I love the car.

- Pros
- Comfort, interior features, price, looks
- Cons
- OK, seriously...no mp3 jack...REALLY? lol light the steering wheel controls
So I LOVE my SX4. 16K miles, not one problem, no real complaints. There are some small things....you lock the electric windows and even the driver can't control them? That is odd. The stereo is cool, but should have an MP3 player jack. And who thinks an 11 gallon take is good? LOL We need some GAS man...15 would be better for me.
I drive an hour each way, always arrive in comfort, AC handles TX summer well. My mileage ave is 29 but I drive almost all highway. Best I got was on a trip to TN alone with no real load, station to station 32mpg. Sure, a Yaris gets better, but have you SAT in a Yaris? :-( The SX4 Crossover FEELS much bigger than its competition, incloding the bigger American cars. I love the handling, the AWD is great on the beach, I like the way it looks, and with 3 kids and a dog that are in it a lot, the interior is still looking great with a minimum of care.
I would buy another in a heartbeat, actually we may get my wife one in the spring. She likes it WAY better than her F150 :-)...read morehide2 out of 2 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Handsome, AWD, Cost, Quality build, Size
- Cons
- Gase Mileage is average
I've had mine for about a year now and I've taken it through it's paces.
I live in Boulder, CO. at the base of the Rocky's so we get some pretty heavy weather in the winter. The AWD is exceptional (and I've owned many 4X4 and AWD vehicles).
I have the touring package with all the bells and whistles. I've owned Lexus, BMW, Toyota, Mini Cooper, Honda and Subara. This is the best buy for the money out there. It has the level of interior comfort and features in cars that cost $10-15K more.
I took it on a road trip from Colorado down to Texas and back up through Arizona and New Mexico. No problems handling the long drive and the cruise control is surprisingly intelligent. Set it at 70 and, while going down a long hill, it knows to downshift to keep your speed at 70. I had a Lexus SC400 (top of the line at the time) that didn't know how to do that.
Stereo is very good. Subwoofer under the driver seat kicks it out during a Gogol Bordello song. It's a little weak in handling MP3 CD's and it's missing an AUX jack (or iPod plugin component) but a $29 iTrip fixes that.
Overall, exceptionally happy with this car....read morehide5 out of 5 people found this review helpful.
