I've only had this about a month. I just down sized from a V-8 Dodge Durango and am finding this car fun to drive. I'm plus-sized and find that the interior has extra leg and head room missing from other small-sized cars I tried. Seats are firm and comfy, dash lights up red, really red (something I wasn't prepared for), seats are built "up" rather than down so you feel like you're riding higher than other small cars. So if you're downsizing as I was you don't feel like you've been stuffed in a can.
Have not tried this on hills yet, so no idea how the engine does. Also haven't tried the AWD.
I got this 5-door car for my dogs. For other dog lovers: The seats fold down but the resulting back is not flat like my old SUV was. When your dog jumps in the back he is jumping down (over the bumper into a small well) into an uneven area because the car is small enough that the seats immediately start to rise which is making my big dog hesitant. When jumping out the tailgate area is slick plastic (not rubberized as my old SUV was) which makes it hard for him to gain footing on the exit - which also makes him hesitant. I've had to remember to unfold a rubber mat over the bumper to give him better footing. For those of you with little dogs that like to hang out windows: The windows curve down at the back edges -- so if your big dog needs some room to hang his head out your little dog may have too much room at that back edge and may be at risk for jumping out.
The only 'cons' I have so far is that the fuel tank seems small. Also, they have drivers and passengers seat arm rests (they fold up) which is a little weird but not necessarily a 'con.'
