Not as hot as I thought

by Kay Short from Bozeman MT (7/22/08)
Pros:has a lot of bells and whistles of some of the more expensive Suv's
Cons:interior has some cheap features. Bad gas mileage and faulty roof rack in the 07 model

When I first got my XL-7 I was extremely impressed with the features it offered. It was nice looking and nice driving. While it is mechanically sound-so far ,I have had it into the dealership 4 different times for the roof rack. It has once again come loose and will be going back for the 5th time. Today my daughter pulled down the viser to use the mirror and it broke off. While it has a lot of bells and whistles of some of the highend SUV's , they are a cheaper bell and whistle. Its the difference between the real deal and the knock off version :( Ive noticed that Suziki has lowered the price (I paid 31,500) for the fully loaded 2007 AWD with 3rd row seat and Nav. Not a good deal for someone who already feels like they paid more then the car was worth........I should have kept my VOLVO

Excellent SUV

by Petar from Rochester, NY (7/17/08)
Pros:wow!!!!!! amazing
Cons:None

I have the 2007 XL-7 and let me tell you, either one is amazing. Which ever you get and for those of us that have them, Bravos for us all that we got this great car. I never been so safe before. I feel secure and I feel like a king in it :)Though I have the basic all in one automatic. Because my dealer had that one in stock at the time. Next time I'LL buy one with leather and much more. Maybe as second one.

Best Car Buying Decision We Ever Made!!

by Stephanie from Milton, Florida (7/12/08)
Pros:comfort, value, performance, versatility
Cons:none so far

I have had my XL7 for over a year now. My husband and I have almost 20,000 miles and have loved it. I previously drove a Sienna minivan and thought I could never drive anything but a Toyota and be happy. I was wrong!!

One for me too!

by J.B. from Texas (7/11/08)
Pros:excellent acceleration, great amount of room

Bought one for my wife and absolutely love it! The only thing I dont like is that we didnt get the all wheel drive model. It has so much power, the front wheel drive model is difficult to control during hard acceleration. Buying the AWD model for myself next year. Also, we have three kids and it provides an ample amount of space for all 5 of us and our LARGE dog!

Like car, but have had many problems!

by V.Rose from Knoxville, TN (6/28/08)
Pros:love the looks, upgraded wheels, pick-up
Cons:poor turn radius, computer system replaced at 15,000 miles, cheap interior lights

Like the car, however, have had too many problems, maybe a fluke... have had...defective tire replaced, gps system malfunction, not operable, broken windshield washer pump (twice), entire computer system shut down (had to be towed and replaced), plastic cover on luggage rack fell off, replacement one was glued.

A Smart choice

by ADK from Highland Park, NJ (4/08/08)
Pros:Very good SUV with the price and mileage. Smooth drive...excellent for long distance.
Cons:Rear view - difficult to judge when we reverse.

I bought a XL 7 3 months back and I'm very happy with the performance for a 6 cylinder engine . I get Avg. 19.5 /20 ml per gallon. Very good interior and spacious. 3rd row seat is good for kids. I strongly advice to try XL 7 before you try any of the same kind from major brands like T or H. A smart choice for the money you spent. Leather interior, very roomy., leg space ..... Very comforable for long distance travel.

great value

by rissbakker from new york (1/20/08)
Pros:lots of features, great ride, beautiful inside and out.
Cons:so far after a week mileage is about 15 overall hopefully it will ge better.

i've test drove several vehicles among them jeep commander, gmc acadia, ford edge, toyota highlander and pathfinder. the suzuki rides better than most of them, engine is a little noisy but otherwise a great ride. my is fully loaded leather dvd rear parking camara, xm radio 7 passenger fog lamps etc too many features too list, any other vehicle with those features would have cost at least 45k, well i'paid 31k, with a 7 year warranty. first time suzuki owner and im impress, definety a great value for what you are getttin.

money's worth, great manumatic transmission speed

by michael ahiamadi from bronx NY (12/31/07)
Pros:Handles good in curves and long distance driving. great intelligence electronic systems and gadgets.
Cons:so far very impressed with all

I have had vw and toyota for a long time and believe me, i loved these cars until i fell inlove with this suzuki. i used this car from virginia to New york and the drive was just superb. i tried paying attention to the said engine noise but i think its a mechanical difference from other cars if one pays attention. the drive is good, the manumatic is also interesting for speed lovers.
