I bought a new 2012 Toyota Tundra Limited. I have owned toyotas my whole life. The Tundra is by far my favorite one. It looks so mean and powerful. I love the interior, and the feel inside. It has a ton of room and all the seats are very comfortable. It is kind of a gas hog, but it is worth it. This truck can handle anything. I hope you love yours as much if you get one....read morehide

I have has the 4.6L double cab Tundra for about 2 months now. I bought this model to give me a good balance of power and fuel economy. I am a regular guy who doesn't need a heavy duty truck. I use it mainly for home projects. I haven't towed anything yet, so I can't give you an honest review on that side of things. The 4.6L does produce enough power to feel like you're driving a full sized truck. In my past, I noticed the V6 engines on a full sized truck, have a hard time pulling the truck around. Inside, I have a storeage compartment under my back seat that comes in handy for tools and whatever else I feel like throwing in there. Heated mirrors, power everything, aux input. My only complaint is a minor one. I am a music junkie! I need my music to sound good. I did not get the JBL upgrade on the radio, and I wish I would have. I will replace this factory radio and speakers. The radio is not terrible, but I have heard better stock radios in other vehicles. The 4x4 has been great the few times that I felt like testing it....read morehide

I've been a Toyota fan ever since I was a kid. I've never had a major problem with all of the Toyota's I've owned. This truck tops them all. I've got the Platinum and it should have been branded as a Lexus truck. It's a really quiet ride. The Platinum is really a luxury vehicle. I'm enjoying every bit of it. I had an '03 Tundra and not once did I have a problem. Keep your vehicle maintained at the recommended intervals and you won't ever have a problem. It's definitely one of the best trucks on the market....read morehide

I Never knew I would have to worry and spend tons on my rear end. Hadn't used it in about 2 weeks and returned from vacation, taking out of park to pull out of driveway and rear end totally locked. Has this happenened to anyone else? This thing only has 43,000 miles. Personal Garage told me it will cost me $1775 approx. Dealer ship said im on my own and it was my neglegence that it happened. I just had the thing serviced at 30,000. I just want this thing fixed, but I can say one thing. With the service and apparently quality of this thing I don't think I can ever go back to Toyota. They ruined my impression of them.
Ask someone you know that owns a Toyota? LOL, Big Joke...read morehide6 out of 12 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Nice Paint, Seats somewhat comfortable
- Cons
- Brakes, Instrument Panel, Windows, Engine, Front End
Purchased As New
I've owned this truck from Brand new ( 21 Miles ) It was the biggest mistake I have ever made. I will NEVER buy another crap box again. Brakes are squeeking as if they need to be replaced. I hauled my ATV approx. 7 times from Ma to NH and I have only 13,238 Miles on it. Dealer tells me they would help if I had 12K or under, My mechanic checked the rotors and they seem all worn. Lights on instrument panel stopped functioning after a rain storm. Dealer has tried 2x to fix and intermittenly turns off. Passenger Window off rail, Didn't know electric windows could "Derail" wife had it down 1/2 way and tried to close and after going up 3 inches something started grinding and was stuck in place. Dealer supposedly fixed but now the Window doesn't go down at all. Engine has a ping as if the lifters are clicking, I thought it could be normal when cold but after driving it to NH and running about 2 hours had it in parked and it sounded like someone was hitting a small hammer on the engine block. Last snow storm had the 4x4 engaged hauling my sled and after 15 miles of driving big BOOM sound and almost lost control of vehicle, so much for my snowmobile long weekend...Thanks Crapota. At this point i'll pay someone $100 bucks to drive it off a bridge. Need parts help yourself, take apart at own risk knowing this thing you'll jack it to take out a wheel and the freakin frame will break. I don't trust this thing and can't stand driving it. It seems like everytime I look at the pile of crap something breaks. I've tried to be nice to dealership and they are useless. Only one guy has actually been a great help there and told me he doesn't even drive a Shitota. If your thinking of wasting hard earned money you've picked the right truck. I will NEVER own a TOYota again!!!!...read morehide
