I've owned my 4Runner for a year now. I bought it new & have put over 25K miles on it. It's been a very reliable, solid vehicle, capable of anything you want to do with it. It's amazing in the snow and sand, fits everything, hauls my trailer & looks great. Compared with my Nissan Pathfinder that I put 100K on... this vehicle is far superior. I've seen posts about disappointing gas mileage? This is a full framed, full size SUV? I drove home from Western New York to Massachusetts kept it at 65 or less on the highway and got 25 mpg! That's amazing for a vehicle like this!...read morehide

Absolutely love it. I have a limited and rides like a dream. Absolutely no regrets except wish it got better MPG but it is an SUV and there are worse off MPG crossovers out there. There is a big difference between the SRS5, Trail edition and Limited so I would recommend doing your homework.

This is my first 4Runner and I love it. Handles well and gets good gas MPG for a SUV no complaints here

I've owned a 4Runner since the first 4 door version came out in 1991 and this newest design is by far my favorite! With it's larger interior and included options, you feel like you're driving a Sequoia, which I've also owned without the hefty price tag, even though this 4Runner is a little pricey. The ride is smooth and the gas pedal is responsive. This 4.0L V6 is refined and has plenty of power! I will definitely NOT regret this purchase!...read morehide

Was this review helpful to you?
- Pros
- 20 mpg city and 22.5 hwy unless kept at 60 mph then I have had 25mpg
- Cons
- Toyota now makes you pay extra for running boards and cross bars on the roof rack
Purchased As New
Generally very happy Have had 3 and am now looking to trade in for number 4. Toyota should be more flexible and allow better options when you order rather than take what is currently available
