- Fuel, front and rear leg room, comfortable ride, reclining rear seats
- Navigation system
After 3 months and 11.000 miles, the car is riding better then when I first took delivery. When you buy a first year model you discover some things have not been thought out, including the now famous outside mirrors, manual steering wheel adjustment and the owner's manual. Other short comings would be the navigation's system voice control and the lack of bluetooth or some other hands free cellular communication. Though I did not get the XM option the location of its antenna on the rear truck makes it look like an after thought. However in this first year model you do discover many well thought out items. A flat floor in the rear that allows this front wheel drive vehicle to seat three adults in the rear without a problem. The heated and venilated (not cooled as it using only cabin air to circulate) driver and passenger seats are great and have become more comfortable with time as they are broken in. The night adjusting rearview and sideview mirrors. The power rear shade and the ability to get in and out of the car and to start it without ever reaching in your pocket or purse. The smooth transmission and great gas milage for a car this size and power. (28 to 31 mpg). The fit and finish in the cabin are very good with only a minor adjustments being made. The cabin noise though not whisper quite is peaceful most of the time. The front and side airbags as well as the curtain airbags all the way around and the vehicle stablity control and other safety items indicate Toyota is thinking safety. (I will be interested in seeing crash test results). Though I would not have ordered it the laser speed control has worked out very well.
Delivery was great and the scheduled service work and minor adjustments I have had done have been completed without a problem.
At this point I am satisfied with the purchase. I anticipate my response should be the same when I hit 50,000 and 100,000 and more miles.
