- Great MPG, GPS, audio system, and fun to drive. Surprisingly peppy!
- small trunk
Bought our 2008 Camry Hybrid last summer. Best mpg so far is 45 (on trips at freeway speeds), and around town averages above 35. That's better than twice the mpg of our pathfinder, even on it's best day. Very comfortable and has lots of options we've come to appreciate (like heated seats this winter). VERY quiet, and performance is a total surprise. This car has more power than my previous V6 avalon, and takes hills with ease. This car is a keeper, and being able to drive alone in car pool lanes is a real bonus in rush hour. The keyless ignition will have you totally spoiled in less than a week. Just walk up to within a few feet of the car and the doors or trunk unlocks, while the key stays in your pocket or purse. The only person I know who doesn't like this car is the guy who owns the gas station where i no longer spend 200 per month on gas. We looked at a prius, and for a single commuter that would be great, but for a family car where you want to take some trips, a few mpg less is well worth it with the camry.
