- Very smooth, quiet, comfortable ride. Smooth and effortless acceleration. Good fuel economy.
- Truck is small - although well configured - it holds a lot for its size
Good fuel economy. We typically get 35 to 37 mpg in L.A/Orange County freeway and surface street traffic. I've gotten as high as 47mpg (in L.A. rush hour traffic) and as low as 32. We have noticed the longer the trip the better the mpg - also the hybrid seems to be especially sensitive to driving with a heavy foot. I love the smooth and quiet ride - no car fatique with this car. The transition from electric to gas, gas to electric is invisible. There is plenty of power for fast acceleration - the gas engine and electric motor working together give the power of a 6 cylinder engine. (My previous car was a 6 cylinder and it didn't have as good acceleration.) The keyless ignition works great for me - I was always losing my car keys in the bottom of my purse - don't have that problem any more. The trunk is small, but it is well configured - I get more in it than I thought I would. We've had the car for 16 months and we have no complaints.
