Purchased As New
Bought the first hybrid in 2011. The price was $ 29,000 out the door. It is a basic model but it has all the features I need. On the road I average between 36 to 38 mpg driving at 70+ mph. At the 60 to 70 mph I get 39 to 40 mpg. I've got 45,000 miles and the car has run beautifully. My son drove my car and bought the 2012 model. He got more features (bluetooth and computer plug in options), a nicer interior and paid $27,000 out the door.
His car has more trunk room and gets 40 to 43 mpg routinely. The newer 2012 models weigh less and handle better than the earlier models. I still love my car but the 2012 hybrids are definitely better.
