I love my 2006 toyota solara. Outside of the usual, I never had any headaches with it except for the brakes. But on the other hand its because I changed all my tires with 20 inches wide trim great looking tires. It really look so awesome. So I changed my brake pads with ceramics which made it so easy with braking now. It rides so great. I will always love it....read morehide

My Solara is four years old today and I love it as I did in 2006. My only complaint is they stopped making it.

I have owned this car for a year. I have always been a truck person. This car has impressed me. It is a sporty car with a luxury ride and feel. 3.3 v-6 gets great fuel mileage. 23 city and 33 highway. Stops quick with 4 wheel disc brakes. My wife drives an 05 Camry. It also is a great car. It has a 4 cyl.
The Solara is a better ride with more power. The only drawback is it is a two door. This car has been maintenance free....read morehide

Before the Solara I had a Camry; all I can say is "WOW", what a huge difference. The ride is very smooth and I love the overall style. It has a very sporty look while at the same time a big body. It is not as great on gas mileage like my Camry was, but hey, what can I say, "you win some, you lose some". Even though this car isn't that quick, the very roomy interior and huge trunk makes up for it. Overall, this car is fabulous and I plan on keeping it until i'm at least 25!:-)...read morehide

Good mpg 24 in town, 29 on road. Quite ride for a convertible and sits up well.

Seats could be padded more and back view took some getting used to.

I'm 52 and tired of the mom SUV so went looking for a car for me. My husband had seen a Solara convertible at work and wanted me to try it. I was looking a the Sebring but once I drove the Solara I was hooked. It has a smooth ride and handles great. Good pickup even with the 5 speed. Have not had any trouble with the car or top and have had it for 8 months. I can't stand for it to be dirty because it deserves the best. Would recommend it to everyone wanting a convertible. Everyone wants to be me when I've got the top down. The worst thing about this car is my husband likes driving it too....read morehide

Back window is small. Shifts a little rough on take off.

I have Lunar Mist with black top SLE model. It is very good looking.
I consistantly get 24-26 mpg. The truck is very large. The seats are comfy. I have owned this car for 14 monthes have not had any problems with it so far.

Great on gas, and enough room for my 5 year old son! Roomy trunk, sporty look for a good price.

Very smooth and quiet. Plenty of power. Back seat roomy and comfortable. Safety and reliability.

Small rear window. Poor tires. Little details could be better.

Great initial impression. No defects or problems. After 10000 miles of conservative driving the tires are well over half gone. It would better if the glove box and console would lock with the remote. We use the back seat a lot and the front passenger seat does not return to the preset position - Toyota really missed on this. The option package with side air bags and 6 CD changer is well worth it. Overall, a great car and a real head turner, especially in red. We just don't get enough top down weather in PA....read morehide
