- Good fuel economy, very roomy, smooth & quiet ride, very comfortable.
- Needs better acceleration.
Just purchased our first new car. Unfortunately, We had to trade-in the Audi TT for a family sized vehicle. We shopped around and read many many reviews and ultimately it came down to the 2006 Honda Accord LX and the 2006 Toyota Camry LE. Test drove both vehicles at least two to three times a piece. The Accord had a rougher ride, but had a more younger, sportier feel to it. The Camry had a much much smoother and quiter ride and it felt like it was made with higher quality features. The Camry felt more stable on the road and you can't beat all the room provided in both the front and back seats and in the trunk. The Accord was approximately $1000 more and we got a better deal on the Camry - received a $500 manufacturers rebate. We opted for the Silver color and we added the all-weather floor mats. We felt very comfortable and confident in our choosing the 2006 Toyota Camry LE. We expect our Camry to last for many many years to come....read morehide

- Quiet ride
- Mine has had problems!
At one year old, right rear wheel bearing is bad. (Selling dealer said the tires were causing the problem!) Shortly after the rear struts are leaking.
Whatever you do, DON'T LET THEM SELL YOU AN AFTERMARKET WARRANTY! If you take it anywhere but the selling dealer, it's a real hassle for the repair facility. Took mine to a different dealer for the wheel bearing repair. They would not release the car until the actual MONEY had been deposited from the warranty company! Took an extra day!
Too bad, as the the car is actually pretty nice, really, but the service departments I've been to seem overworked, understaffed, and not very knowledgeable. The struts were not in stock - a 3 day wait! After replacing the struts, they "forgot" to do the wheel alignment! Geez!...read morehide

- Sleek, clean outline. Quiet ride. Dashboard easy to view at a glance.
- Might have a lemon on my hand. Engine light stays on.
Just picked up my new 2006 LE Camry--only had 15 miles on it. Got it home and engine light went on. During the night it rained and in the morning all the dashboard lights and gages did not function. While driving to dealer went over a bump and gages turned on all by themselves. Had Service run check of computer and things looked fine and drove home. Well, later on after dinner, went outside to check and yup, power was out again on dashboard, with all gages off and engine light on. Not happy at all with this car so far. Might have a lemon on my hand. Jjust a warning to others....read morehide

- This car makes me feel safe inside!
- Dashboard could be more interesting.
I am a new driver and this car makes me feel safe with its many safety features. I test drove a Honda Civic 2006 and was happy with the new zip and the remodeled dashboard till I saw the price tag - on road it was going to cost me just around $19,100!!
So I went over to Toyota and got a NEW 2006 LE Automatic Transmission for $18,555 ON THE ROAD (!!!!) including all taxes and charges with free Camry car mats too!! I'm in heaven!
Got a nice deal on the finance too. I was in and out of the dealership in 2 hrs with the car - I had done all my research on phone and asked 2 dealers to fax me quotes which I used to get my price.
So to all people who are looking to buy a car, go to a Toyota dealership. This is a great car to buy and own....read morehide

- Comfort, MPG, Smooth ride!
- can't find one at the moment
I bought this car after years of only driving Jeeps. All I can say is WOW! I have two young children, and the features for a safe family car are amazing! The drive is so smooth and comfortable. The sound system is good. The trunk space is HUGE! This car can sit 4 people comfortably. Tons of leg room and the automatic seat adjustment is perfect for a petite person like me. The look of this car is classic, yet sort of sporty. I have the indigo blue and I love it!...read morehide
