Absolutely love this car. Had a Jaguar and two BMWs all new prior to this. I drive too many miles to kill a premium automobile every 3-4 years and the price of gas had me looking at vehicles with a lower cost of ownership. I first saw the Camry CE on the lot and thoght what a great looking car but I flipped when I saw the SE. It was the only car that got me excited and gave me the Got to Have It feeling.
There is a substantial difference in the styling of the SE from the other trim levels. Nobody realizes that this is a Camry. I got mine in Titanium and it fits right in the valet lot with the likes of the BMWs, Infinitis, Acuras and other premium cars and looks better than many of them.
This is a practical car that strikes a perfect balance of luxury and sporty styling and combines it with legendary Toyota build quality and durability at a reasonable price. This is a big car with a very roomy interior and great front seats.
I would have opted for the V6 but when they did the vehicle search to find me a car all of the V6s had one of two packages that add around $5k to the already higher base price of the V6.
The power is fine with the I4 and it's even fun to drive. It drops off a little with the A/C on. The ride is more supple than a BMW and while the steering and tracking is precise it is not as quick as say a BMW.
I love this car and I am enjoying the fact that I see few other SEs on the road right now. I feel like I stole it for the price every time I get in.
