Purchased As New
When I purchased this car in 2007 it was great! I hit the gas and it actually moved. I never had an issue UNTIL... I took it in for the recalls (people couldn't stop their cars) When I picked up my car from being repaired for the recalls all of a sudden the car had to think before it took off (totally unacceptable as you are trying to merge on the highway), I now have my 3rd set of rotors. We only buy parts from the toyota dealership but their rotorts warped in less than 30 days. We purchased a new set of rotors from another business and installed them. We then drove to the toyota dealership (10 miles) for the brake inspection only to be told that our rotors are warped. REALLY?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?? DO NOT BUY THIS CAR!!! Although it probably won't do any good... I got a list of the top 21 employees at Toyota Corp...I will be sending them all letters along with internet complaints... this car will be paid off in a couple of months and now I'm stuck with a piece of unreliable crap. I don't even feel safe driving my own car!
