- Acceleration is still a bit laggy
Test drove it today, a Red (favorite color out of the bunch) 2007 Camry V6 SE. We went into the dealership knowing we wouldn't walk out with it (quoted a 24,740 out of door price by a broker) It handled a lot better than my current 2004 Camry V6 LE, looks a lot better to. One gripe is the lag on the gas pedal, my current Camry has this problem, but it's a lot more severe. On the SE, not so much, but still present, go drive one, you'll see what I mean. The sport bucket seats are very supportive, while changing freeways there was a right curve rated at 30mph, the Camry took it easily at 50mph, pretty impressive. The 'tiptronic' didn't do too much for me, I'll probably leave it in 'D' most if not all of the time. Again, this car is 100% Toyota, sure, it might be a bit bland to some, but honestly, with it's relability, decent performace, good price (USE A BROKER!!! I ONLY GOT IT DOWN TO 25,300 without one!!) it's a pretty good buy. I always read reviews of cars, but if you're seriously looking into buying a new V6 Sedan, you should definately test drive this one.
