- Soft but VERY VERY UNCOMFORTABLE ride!
Purchased As New
I knew it was ugly but still bought it because I didn't care. The primary decision when I bought this 2012 Camry was based on the previous smooth rides I got from 2000 and 2002 camry's. Not anymore! The car just amplifies every bump in the road and shake me up in a strange and scary manner. After the 30-minute ride to work (mostly highway) I feel tense and tired. Unfortunately, this is something I cannot notice during the short/distracted test drive. I have no problem with my bumpy 2000 Tacoma 4WD Offroad! I think Toyota tries to make their cars more "sporty" but they just don't know how. I am done with Toyota after 20-year of loyalty.
On the plus side, the 2012 4-cyl has good power (whining a little bit at low speed). 6-speed trans shifts smoothly.
