Find a Car
One of the most popular and therefore least-ambitious cars on Earth, the Camry is also one of the most reliable, which makes it a maddening vehicle to review. As the car business changes at a staggering pace, there are plenty of shiny new objects, but the Camry plods along, continuing to perform at a high level, delivering solid fuel economy, decent features (particularly at the upper trim levels), strong safety ratings, and tons of value. And while it's not fun to drive, exactly, it's not torture, either. It's also perfectly roomy and comfortable inside. The most exciting developments in Camry-land, however, come with the Hybrid version, which is now getting gas mileage close to what the Prius offers, but without the usual hybrid-car eccentricities, and has a little extra zip in the drive train, too. Hybridization portends a long and profitable future for the Camry nameplate.
