- Fuel economy is great, Good stereo and 6 cd changer, comfortable, pretty zippy
- Back seat cup holder is a piece of trash other than that none.
I wanted to wait till I put some miles on it to write a review. So far got 10k with some long trips on it and some harsh driving conditions. Overall, it's a great car. Im getting about 35 mpg on the highway which is what I bought it for. I recently took a 300 mile trip and I was perfectly comfortable the whole way (Im 5'10), in fact I think the seat is very comfortable. It rides nice, decent acceleration for the engine size. If you're buying this car to go fast, you deserve to be disapointed, its a solid economy car. I drove the Mazda 3 before buying the corolla and I liked the way it drove A LOT better (better accelteration, better stearing, less body roll) but everything else about the corolla was more appealing. My girlfriend has a new civic and there is nothing about her civic that I like more than my corolla. I read some other review about how people dont feel safe driving when there is wind or rain. I've had no problem and I've gone through some heavy storms on some windy roads. The car is light and a gust will move it but what do you expect? I suspect those issues have more to do with an individuals driving ability more than anything else. I would buy one again in a heartbeat, I had to search for a "con" to add above but that back seat cup holder really is a piece of garbage. A remote trunk opener would be nice too.
