Purchased As Used
My first Toyota, but I don't regret it after owning it 5 months now. I don't know why so many folks say bumpy ride, mine is fair to good. Nothing like the Lincoln Town Car I had before this car, but come on, not a fair comparison. Fuel economy: I get 40+ highway, 26-28 city. I paid too much, but they have an excellent re-sale value that they hold, so that takes the sting out of my purchase price. Very comfortable and more room inside that it may appear looking at it, and a surprisingly large trunk and fold-down rear seats. Green rating of 76. hard to beat that. And I don't know if it is only me, or it is common with these cars, but the radio just plain sucks. terrible reception. Not as 'peppy' as I would like, 126HP 1.8L needs a tweak or something by Toyota. It goes OK, but be VERY careful passing on two-lane roads. Personally I chill-out and follow, unless there is a truck doing 50 and I have lots of room to see oncoming, I travel these high-speed 2-lane roads often...but I value my life more than getting there 2 minutes sooner.
