- rather quiet in the city
- very uncomfortable, cramped
I took this car for a test drive a couple of weeks ago.
The design was kind of nice and I thought the car was quieter than the honda civic. But I couldn't find a comfortable position, I'm about 6 foot 2 and I put the seat as far as I could and I still thought my legs were cramped. I wish toyota had put longer seat tracks on this car.
I also think the honda civic looks muuuuuch better and is more comfortable than this car...read morehide

- NICE ENOUGH GENERIC CAR, NO HANG UPS, AND ITS NOT FOR EGOMANIACS
- A LITTLE SMALL, BUT YOU GET USED TO IT
ITS A NICE ENOUGH CAR, IT GETS YOU THERE AND BACK, HOW EVER YOU KNOW YOU CAN RELY ON IT, AS LONG AS YOU MANTAIN IT. ITS THE SECOND TOYOTA I HAVE OWNED AND I THINK I WILL CONTINUE TO BE A TOYOTA OWNER HENCE FORE

- Very smooth and quiet with decent acceleration. Averages around 36 MPG with both city/hwy.
- Steering wheel is too far from the driver and not adjustable.
I have had my Corolla for a year now and have been happy with it overall. My only gripe is that the steering wheel is just too far away. No matter how I adjust the seat I can't get comfortable. If I move the seat forward, I can reach the steering whell OK, but I'm too close to the pedals for comfort. I can't understand why Toyota didn't make a telescopic steering wheel....read morehide

- Decent looks
- Very rough ride and so noisey at highway speeds it is hard to converse.
This is by far the worst car I have ever owned. It is literally falling apart at 3,000 miles. Welds breaking, rattleing like it is going to fall in a pile. Company will not stand behind their junk.
This is my first Toyota and I will never own another one. Trading on a Ford Focus tomorrow.

- Same Toyota quality as other models
- Very, Very small. Mileage rating is Bogus
I bought a brand new Corolla 3 months ago and after driving it for that long I could no longer tolerate the lack of room. I am not a small guy but there is simply not enough space for a big guy to be comfortable. If you are a big person, do yourself a favor and buy the Camry (better yet, buy a Mazda).
I was also very dissappointed with the gas mileage. I was assured by the dealer that I would get more than the 35 MPG listed on the sticker. Absolutely not true! The best I have gotten on the highway is 32 MPG. I really regret buying this car!...read morehide

- Good fuel economy, smooth ride with lots of pep, it's a Toyota.....what more can you say
I have a 98 Toyota Tacoma with 166,000 miles on it and nothing but routine maintenance on it. I bought a 2007 Corolla CE and have been very pleased. I drive 55 miles a day round trip to work and so far my Corolla is getting 37 MPG on the highway, and has cut my gas usage in half. All these reviews on here dogging the Corolla need to get their Fords and Chevys and see if they will be around, at or around 250,000 or 300,000 miles. I love mine!!!...read morehide
