- Great mileage, roomy for a small car, no repair costs, plenty of power
- Engine noisy when pushed
I'm 6'5" and 235, not a small man, but I have plenty of room in my Corolla. When I hear guys who are 6' say they need an SUV I think they're nuts. I haven't had to spend any money on my Corolla except for gas and oil changes. I'll keep it for over five years and then buy another....read morehide

- Super fuel economy--I usually get 50 mph highway. Very comfortable. Plenty of flexible cargo space.
- Cornering is not as tight as I would like.
This is my second Corolla, with a PT Cruiser and a Mazda SpeedMiata in between them. Hated the Cruiser. Loved, the Miata, but came back to a Corolla for its safety, style, and reliability after a bad crash. Handles very well for a sedan. Gets super mileage. Carries everything I need. The trim package I got is very upscale for so inexpensive a vehicle. This car will retain its value for a long time....read morehide

- Good Fuel 28/City, 36-38/fwy, esay to handle, roomy inside
- some noise from the engine when you turn on the AC
I have three brand new of Saturn & Chevy in the pass 10 years, Each car after 3 years, then it came with some problems to fix, It costed couple of thousand dollars to fix, what a shame....
I feel tired of it; During the last 6 months, I had have to chang the battery ( ONLY 44k MILES), front brakes and rear brakes, 4 new tires and much more to fix; Finally I trade in my 2005 Chevy Colorado crew cab pick up truck , and purchades a Toyota Corolla LE, my wife have a 2004 Toyota Sienna LE, it just passed 4 & 1/2 years, it doesn't have any major problem;...read morehide

- Great fuel economy
- Poor quality materials
Seems well put together at first. Two years later have had several pieces of interior trim replaced due to defects and 1 fuel pump. Drives well in the city but not on the highway. Dealer was so-so.

- great MPG, great looks, and the best value for the $$$
- 15" wheels
My wife and I bought this car through our local TOYOTA dealership internet sales (loved the great attention we received!), it was a dealer demo that was a certified used car (5500 miles)...so they increased the powertrain warranty to 100,000 miles. The dealership is selling Corollas literally off the truck as they come in because of the backlog of Prius' sales. We were in the right place at the right time...our LE has power moonroof, cruise control and 6-disc CD player and a great Indigo Red color. The only thing I wanted but is not available is 16" wheels...
I drive 70 miles roundtrip each day and the 1st two tanks averaged 32.7 mpg combined driving (with the AC on all the time). a 49% increase from what I was getting with my 2001 Taurus. We are very pleased. This is a great option for those who can not wait the 4-6 months for the Prius....read morehide

- The raido was decent, pretty good looking car
- lots of road noise, numerous problems, always in the shop
I've had lots of problems with this vehicle. I just don't believe the "toyota quality" myth. 7 times in dealership within first 6 months. Stalling problem, electrical problems. I'm pretty frustrated and thinking of trading in on a fusion

- Good fuel economy, Nice velour seating, Nice ride, Overall nice car!
- Should have standard ABS brakes, and side air bags - only faults i have with it.
I traded in my 06' Scion xA on a new 08' Corolla LE because of having nightmares about the deer I hit in the Scion a few months earlier. Although, the Scion only had minor damage (not enough to report to the insurance co.) it still shook me up enough to know that this car was just too small and considering it was also a stick shift (city driving can be quite unbearable sometimes)and had no side airbags I decided it was time to search for a good deal. After careful planning and searching I found my Corolla at Laurel, MD Carmax, toyota was running a rebate special and after checking my credit for a good interest rate it all came together. I went in for the 1st time in my life and picked out a new car it was most exciting and I choose the white with beige interior. Kind of the abnorm for me since I have always when with sporty cars and colors such as maroon, black or red. I like this car alot over the Scion although the Scion came with ABS brakes standard it did not come with keyless entry, cruise control, daytime running lamps, or some of the other creature and ride comforts. This was a step up for me it rides nice, the velour seating is nice and it adjusts well. I think this is a great overall car, alot of people have complained about it and have said it's plain its ugly or it's boring. I have one thing to say to those type of people "don't buy it if your going to complain every single day about it!" It's a great everyday car and it def. makes you feel like your driving a more expensive car from the inside. I am overall very happy with my LE and I hope I have many many years of happiness with it, it only has 600 miles on it but, so far so good. I plan on setting it apart from the rest of the white LE's in and around my area but, adding a spoiler, pinstriping, and hopefully some fog lamps. Just because ALOT of people out there have this same car doesn't mean you can't spice it up a bit and make it tasteful to boot! I thing i forgot to add is overall I feel safer in this car than in my Scion and that is the best feeling! I would recommend this car - HIGHLY!...read morehide
