- Great Fuel Economy!!, Easy to tweak and customizable, Low Maintenance Car
- Clicking sound when ABS is activating
For me, this ride is very good, though not enough power, you can easily tweak it so that you can have an additional horsepower, with so many aftermarket parts. Easy to maintain and you can do the periodic maintenance personally, my current mileage is 82,700km without any breakdown in my history. The only problem is that the ABS and EBD(Electronic Brake Distribution)is not that great. ICE is also bad, aswell as the stock speaker. Another information for the readers, THIS COROLLA IS MUCH BETTER THAN THE 2009 COROLLA DUE TO ITS LIGHTWEIGHTNESS RATHER THAN THE NEW ONE. IT IS ALSO WELL BALANCED THAN THE NEWER COROLLA. That's all folks....read morehide

- Great mileage, roomy for a small car, no repair costs, plenty of power
- Engine noisy when pushed
I'm 6'5" and 235, not a small man, but I have plenty of room in my Corolla. When I hear guys who are 6' say they need an SUV I think they're nuts. I haven't had to spend any money on my Corolla except for gas and oil changes. I'll keep it for over five years and then buy another....read morehide

- good fuel economy
- ride is smooth brakes are better this time with ABS
Ride is smooth brakes are better this time with ABS only optional in Corolla ALTIS and 2.od Saloon.
Outlook is ok bigger body look but very light weight car too dangerous in serious accidents or driving on highway over 140 km/hour. Iterior is not so nice finished comparing to HONDA civic steering is not fixed properly at its place and looks cheap !! No leather touch or hand sewn touch on it !! Just a plactic!! NO AIR BAG for passenger seat only for driver while HONDA civic has for both persons at least !! NEED TO BE IMPROVED ON THESE ABOVE MENTIONED THINGS !! TYRES ARE POOR QUALITY ALSO !!!...read morehide

- Super fuel economy--I usually get 50 mph highway. Very comfortable. Plenty of flexible cargo space.
- Cornering is not as tight as I would like.
This is my second Corolla, with a PT Cruiser and a Mazda SpeedMiata in between them. Hated the Cruiser. Loved, the Miata, but came back to a Corolla for its safety, style, and reliability after a bad crash. Handles very well for a sedan. Gets super mileage. Carries everything I need. The trim package I got is very upscale for so inexpensive a vehicle. This car will retain its value for a long time....read morehide

- rather quiet in the city
- very uncomfortable, cramped
I took this car for a test drive a couple of weeks ago.
The design was kind of nice and I thought the car was quieter than the honda civic. But I couldn't find a comfortable position, I'm about 6 foot 2 and I put the seat as far as I could and I still thought my legs were cramped. I wish toyota had put longer seat tracks on this car.
I also think the honda civic looks muuuuuch better and is more comfortable than this car...read morehide

- Good Fuel 28/City, 36-38/fwy, esay to handle, roomy inside
- some noise from the engine when you turn on the AC
I have three brand new of Saturn & Chevy in the pass 10 years, Each car after 3 years, then it came with some problems to fix, It costed couple of thousand dollars to fix, what a shame....
I feel tired of it; During the last 6 months, I had have to chang the battery ( ONLY 44k MILES), front brakes and rear brakes, 4 new tires and much more to fix; Finally I trade in my 2005 Chevy Colorado crew cab pick up truck , and purchades a Toyota Corolla LE, my wife have a 2004 Toyota Sienna LE, it just passed 4 & 1/2 years, it doesn't have any major problem;...read morehide

- Good fuel economy and alright power
I Have a 2007 corolla that I bought while I was waiting for new tires on my Cadi, and I am getting about 39 mpg average at 65-70 mph, but I do a few complaints. I can hear every crack in the road and the interior squikes in rough roads. but other than that it is a good reliable car I now have 58,000 miles on it and i have had no problems. the only thing I do is routine maintanence. I like the standard it is perfectly geared for max torque if you know how to drive a standard. I live in a mountain area and it climbes them just fine. One thing to remember it drives real good but it still is a four banger. Not good on ice really light car....read morehide

- Averaging 40 mpg, comfortable, great value
- I wish they'd make a Corolla convertible!
Doing a mix of town and highway driving, am getting great mpg. Comfortable enough on 500-mile trips we've taken, not as cushy perhaps as our Camry but OK. Sprightly, again perhaps comparing to automatic Camry, but I'm not a leadfoot or get rubber off the line type. Probably that's one reason for the good mpg. Driver sits up nicely. I am impressed by the amenities of this "basic" car. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles, I got what I paid for and that's what I wanted. To be totally informational, I might mention that my daily driver for the previous 7 years was a '69 VW, so little things such as a heater and defroster that works were pretty impressive to me! Even so, I have very much enjoyed my Corolla. Getting it at 0% interest didn't hurt, either....read morehide

- good milage to fuel ratio
- this is a car of comfort, with less maintanance cost
Toyota Corolla is very stable and reliable, the brakes are very sharp, when am speeding I just have to tap the brake and the will stop at just were I want it to
the interiour is clasic to say
THIS WHAT I CALL A CAR
I CHANGR TO RENULT FOR SOME TIME BUT I JUST HAVE TO GO BACK FOR MY TOYOTA, WHY MANITANANCE COST IS JUST TOO HIGH THAN I EXPECTED IT TO BE...read morehide
