- Unbelievable MPG
- Interior lacking driver accessability
Purchased As Used
Driving the car on backwoods cow trails I am getting 35 mpg. Great 4cyl engine, very quiet, smooth. No problem on the open highway with staying in my lane even at 70-75mph. I have driven some newer Dodge Avengers and Ford Fusions both were very noisy and shaky cars, I don't get that feeling at all driving this toy. Not the "grandma looking" car that the corolla used to be.
Lots of interior room, for a compact car, but lacking easy access for the driver. You really have to take your eyes away from the road to change the radio (although this does have steeringwheel controls), or turn on reading lights. The clock is very small and hidden under the tachometer. I just wonder what the automatic 5-speed would be like on the highway.
