I never thought I would own a Toyota because I've never been a big fan of the brand but after much research it was the best deal that included all the options I wanted (the main one being a sunroof). It was left over from the previous year so I got 3k off the sticker price. It has great sporty looks with the ground effects but its not very fast. I wish it had a little more get up and go, but I guess thats the price you pay for good gas mileage. My previous car was a Volvo and I was a little spoiled by the comfort of that car so I was looking for something that would be somewhat comparable to that. I found that the upgraded seats on the S model are very comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised. I test drove a lower trim level and the seats were not as soft and supportive. I've noticed the steering issues that other people have addressed in the other reviews, and from my experience the only time the steering seems "wandering" or "loose" is when I'm on the highway and there are high winds. Other than that the car handles great. The only other complaint that I share with other reviewers is the paint chipping. I've only put 2k miles on the car so far and already I have a couple of good chips on the bumper and the black spots really stand out on a white car. I guess I'll just have to get some touch-up paint. I have not experienced the interior making noises like some other people have, its been pretty quiet so far. The stereo is decent, not the best but you can still turn it up loud without it bogging down too much. Also, the only feature that I wish the car came with is a tire pressure monitor. I'm not sure if its an option but it would really help since I rarely think about my tires. All and all its a good reliable car for the money.
