Cheap Plastics, Transmission

I bought this car new and have had some mechanical problems, I know weird being it's Toyota, but it's true the transmission has been shifting very different. Took it in said it was a shift solenoid. Car also feels very cheap, plastic pieces keep falling off inside so I just take some super glue and stick the pieces back on. These cars will not excite you but will get you where you need to go. Style cues are terrible. I test drove one and found everything to be really cheap an flimsy.

I bought a new 2011 but it was hit by someone pulling out of a gas station and totaled B4 I got the license plates, so I bought a 2012 S as a replacement. The other guys insurance gave me more than what I paid for it. I love the car and would recommend it to anyone. The drive, handeling and power is everything I need. It is great. Boring car a few minor problems with some electrical parts, but doesn't bother me due to that it's under warranty. My old Corolla was way better back in 1995.

Ours is a 2004 LE. We bought it new in 04 and have not regreted it. It still looks like new, (I take care of it) The paint job is excellent, the ride is quiet and comfortable for a small car. People ask us how It stays looking so new. I tell them to just wash it and use a good wax from time to time. The fuel economy is great. We have gotten up to 40 MPG on road trips. It does not use oil between changes, which I do on a regular basis. Great little car! Who needs a hybred at these numbers!...read morehide

Car actually dies on me when I am in traffic, something to do with an engine sensor toyota repaired it, power windows stopped working and transmission is jerking, Car is always in shop. Would not recommend.
