- Pros
- Nice Radio
- Cons
- transmission pproblems,Feels cheap
Purchased As New
Nice ride, the transmission has been acting up though, and the gas mileage is not what I expected. I don't care if my transmission slips does't bother me much just the overall quality is not there, I am used to my older Toyota's where they were bulletproof and this just seems cheap.

I recently purchased the 2012 Hybrid and after comparing it with other hybrids found this car to be the best overall value, and I am very satisfied with my decision. It is very roomy and beautifully designed with details I find on no other SUV.. the engine is powerful and responds instantly, navigation, bluetooth, SAT radio, cd player, AM / FM, all work well with a great sound system and seamless integration of each feature. I am looking forward to many years of enjoyable driving....read morehide

- Pros
- flexible uses, good milage
- Cons
- scary recall notices

My highlander hybrid is 6 years old with 87,500+ miles on it. We drive it up to 200 miles each week and the gas milage has been very consistantly good. It's not incredible but it's been better than our other car so I'm very happy with it. It rides well, is flexible for grandkids or extra luggage. I would get one again....read morehide

- Pros
- 280 HP and 28 MPGs
- Cons
- Advent Navi system is difficult to understand
Purchased As New
I originally thought I was only getting 16MPG but after driving it for awhile I realized I was getting better, I actually got 29 MPGs last time I filled up, and thats actually manually figuring it out, not relying on the MPG meter. Really a nice, roomy, smooth riding vehicle that gets great gas mileage for a suv with 280 HP. I had an Advent Navi system installed and I have a little difficulty understanding it....read morehide

- Pros
- Smooth ride
- Cons
- Fuel economy is NOT getting near what I was told
Purchased As New
I bought this vehicle with the expectation of getting 28MPG. Granted I'm still working on my first tank of gas, but I'm getting 17MPG as of now, and this is the highest I've seen. I think its averaging more in the 16MPG range. This is ridiculous, I hope there is something wrong with it so they can fix it is all I can say....read morehide
