- Ride, power, size, nav system.
- Fuel but they say it takes 2000 miles to break in.
I recently purchased a Highlander limted, I owned a 2005 Envoy xl. I looked at the Acadia and did like the ride and size but I was not real happy the the shifting and the financing they offered. I test drove MDX, Jeep grand and commandor, Acadia and the Honda pilot. The 2008 Highlander had the best all around package. I ordered the Blizzard white limited with the NAV, DVD tow package, third row etc... The third row is fine, I am 6 ft tall and I fit in the third row although I would not want to take a long ride in this row. My two daughters who are 3 and 6 love the car and they fit perfect in the third row. The vehicle rides very smooth, quite, and the power is mor ethan enough. If you want to do real offroading I would go with the jeep but I drive around 50,000 miles per year and wanted something I felt comfortable getting 200,000 thousand out of. I am a VP of sales and travel all over the country. The MDX was also very nice but the Highlander had a little more size, better gas mileage and less money. I do reall like the new style and over all vehicle is the best but this is only my opinion.
