- Pros
- Smooth ride, V6 engine
- Cons
- Black paint, handling

Overall great, decent gas mileage. Cons- I could sneeze on the black paint and scratch it. Never would dream of going through a brush car wash. I had the same problem with a Rav 4's black paint...figured they would have fixed this.

Got this for my wife about 6 weeks ago. Spent a lot of time reviewing cars online. Then my wife test drove some cars and we narrowed it down to this and the CX9. I test drove the CX9 but couldn't get over the way the center console rubbed on my right knee when driving. I am extremely happy with the Highlander. It is a very smooth ride and the V6 has plenty of power....read morehide

Overall, It is a really nice vehicle. I am leasing for 3 years and I am sure I will be happy, but I liked my Mazda CX9 Grand Touring better. Hoping my milage improves, currently getting 15/city. Hoping for 17 which is a little better than 15 I was getting on my other vehicle. Highlander has larger and more storage compartments and beverage holders which is nice for the kids. Also, like the storage cover with this vehicle...nice when shopping. Another bonus is the wiper and side mirror heaters perfect for snow/ice as well as snow assist. Nice option to have 7 seats but smaller than CX9. UPGRADE STEREO!...read morehide

- Pros
- Powerful V6, quiet, good highway cruising, people hauler
- Cons
- Limited cargo.

V6 is powerful. Can easily cruise at high speeds on the highway. Quiet interior. Feels solid. Ride was very good. I found cargo to be a problem. The HL hatch opening is 32.5 inches high while Rav4 hatch opening measured 37 inches high. The highlander cargo space is longer but lower, while the Rav4 is boxier. I found it a real pain trying to fit a bicycle inside the highlander. I also hit my head when sitting in the back. So good for people hauling, not so much for cargo. I with they would lower the floor....read morehide
