2006 Toyota Land Cruiser User Reviews
- No trim specified for this review
- Long list of standard features, good crash-test results, great reliability
- GPS is an expensive option, gas mileage(4x4), performance, but I didnt really expect that much
This is the ultimate SUV, it all started with the FJ- Cruiser way back when. Since 1998, the new body style Land Cruiser has been more about providing a luxurious ride while still sticking to its off-road heritage. This is noticed with the full time four-wheel drive which improve traction but hurts fuel-economy.Toyota has done an excellent job with the suspension, its provides a very smooth ride and they also did a good job covering up wind-noise which i'm sure was hard since this is a boxy vehicle. The V8 provides adequate power and the gears change very smoothly. This car has been acknowledged by many car magazines all over the world. In Africa, Egypt, and other remote places of the world, the LandCruiser is the SUV of choice, not a new one of course due to the steep $60,000 price this SUV brings, but i believe that money is well spent on a well-rounded SUV that you wont regret purchasing.
