2007 Toyota Land Cruiser User Reviews
- Quiet, comfortable and roomy
- Handles like an old school SUV
Solid as a rock and reliable. I've owned them all, and while the Landcruiser is not cutting edge, the only trips to the dealer are for oil changes. Changing the OE tires to Michelins helped in the ride and handling department.

- feels a safe care do drive
- overrated, tyres wear out quickly, engine lacks power, poor interior
Was thinking to buy the car of my dreams but quickly became the car out of a nightmare. Never again a landcruiser, overrated, underpowered and need a lot of unexpected maintenance. Dont advise to buy this car in the UAE... service is dissapointing.

- Price, handling, performance, amenities, interior fit and finish,
Overrated vehicle for the price. I was assured this was SUV nirvana. I have had several maintenance issues with this poor handling, gas guzzling behemoth. I was wooed by the reliability and safety but at a cost.
Busted retractable seat blets, maintenance light keeps illuminating, dashboard gaps and poor overall fit/finish in interior, CD changer stops working intermittently.
All of this and a poor handling, 13 combined MPG, a measley 268 HP with anmemic torque and an ugly vehicle to boot for $58,000. I should have had my head examined prior to the purchase...my God....read morehide

- Comfortable seat, smooth ride
- Awkward, clumsy, poor handling, plastic everywhere
I am disappointed in the "on road" performance characteristics of this suv. It is very awkward and corners poorly. I expected better for $60K. Also, every piece of the interior is plastic, no luxury treatments anywhere, no wood grain or leather appointments (except seats and steeringwheel). Also missing some expected conveniences noted by other reviewers. For a "luxury" suv it comes up short in several areas from my perspective.
I have read all the off road prowess and it all sounds nice, but Toyota sells this as a vehicle for everyday people too....it misses the mark for that audience from my perspective.
Will trade in soon....read morehide

- Nice Looking INterior (When not looking at small details) and thats about it
- Underpowered and Gas worse then any other SUV ive ever tried (11/17) 4.7L 268HP V8 in a $56K Truck??
What a Joke. A MSRP of $56K and you can enjoy the UNDERPOWERED 4.7L V8 with Under 300HP and the worst gas mileage in its class, what a JOKE. Sure, you can enjoy the comfy seats and room but wait till you start feeling those tiny road bumps that this car turns into mountains. This is crazy, Toyota was suppose to have top of the line satisfaction. Sure, this thing has great reliability, but god is it a RIPOFF in every shape and form, and it doesnt look good. I got it as a gift from my friend who runs a Toyota Dealer and I will be selling it as soon as I can. I test Drove the Sequoia and it is MUCH BETTER, but I will go for the more efficicent and nicer Escalade. Bye Toyota...read morehide

- Reliable, comfortable seat
- ugly in and out, handles like a double decker bus, guzzles gas with poor acceleration
Great observations from many previous reviews...for the price of this vehicle I am surprised I see any on the road....I must admit I fell for the smooth ride and bought one a year ago...big mistake...yes I bought reliability but little else when compared to other offerings in the same price range. Just a small observation but why would they use an auto dimming inside rear view mirror and not the outside ones? Am I missing something? I am still blinded by rear approaching cars with thie high beams on...hello?
Looking forward to my next vehicle...read morehide

- CANNOT AFFORD PAYING $56,000, GET A MITSUBISHI MONTERO FOR $36,000
- MITSUBISHI MONTERO IS THE SAME AS TOYOTA LANDCRUISER, BUT BETTER AND LESS MONEY!
THE TOYOTA LANDCRUISER IS JUST ONE OVERPRICED SUV WITH CAPABILITIES STILL UNKNOWN FOR 40 YEARS SINCE NOT TAKING PART IN THE ENDURANCE AND TOUGHNESS RACES, LIKE DAKAR. DON'T KNOW IF IT IS SCARED OR WHAT! THE LANDCRUISER STILL USES THE OLD SUSPENSION LIKE THE ONES USED IN WORLD WAR 2 TRUCKS, WHILE THE MONTERO USES NEW TECHNOLOGY, INTRODUCED BY MERCEDES BENZ ABOUT 40 YEARS BACK, THE 4 WHEEL INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION. THE PRICE OF THE LANDCRUISER SHOULD BE IN THE SAME PRICE AS THE MITSUBISHI MONTERO!...read morehide

- Too much overrated by Toyota in advertisement and not much to offer
- Bad fuel economy at 12mpg, old looking shape, boring drive, unstable in high speed
I am looking for a luxury SUV with power to get and go. Tested the Landcruiser and was not satisfied. Tried the Lincoln Navigator with 5.4 V8 engine giving 300hp 13/18mpg which same as the Landcruiser but more power and the Lincoln had more room and features galore. I bought the Lincoln because it was greater value....read morehide
